Arriving about 3.30 in the afternoon the first impression was very good. Nice clean pub. and friendly staff.
We was shown to our room in a separate block which was clean, bright, with a really nice wet room. Plenty of towels, and a large (king size) bed.
I must say we both had a good nights sleep on. The breakfast in the morning was more than adequate, with plenty
There was plenty of parking spaces, and a short walk to the village centre. We shall use this bed & breakfast again.

We stayed here only for the one night as we were going to a wedding at Knowle Manor, which is a very short walk away from the house. It was an ideal location for this wedding venue. We had a beautiful, comfortable, stress free stay which made us desperate to come back for longer. Libby makes an absolutely amazing breakfast and is happy to help with any query you have. Her dogs are also really cute and very friendly!

First of all, the staff were excellent! As soon as I checked in, I was offered a nice pot of tea and biscuit in the patio by the river. Because the signal in the village was not very good, the owner let me use the landline to call my family. After I checked out, they let me leave my case in my room as nobody was using the room that night. Secondly, very nice location: by the river, which you can walk along to Watersmeet, a few mins walk from the bus stop, and 5mins from the high street. Also, they gave me a lovely free gift: complimentary toiletries and clotted cream fudge!!!

Stayed here for a couple of nights while attending a wedding in the area. We couldn't have been looked after any better, a warm welcome and tea and cake on arrival which was really appreciated after a long journey. Our host was friendly and happy to leave the door unlocked for us for a late return after the wedding reception. We ordered breakfast the evening before and came down to a freshly brewed pot of tea and a superbly cooked breakfast, sausages from their own pigs and delicious free range eggs. Guests are welcome to use the lounge/dining room with books and TV. The location is quiet and yet close to many visitor attractions.
