The staff were nice but we had issue with our room - smelled like an ashtray. unfortunately we arrived in the evening after a sporting event and my daughter was exhausted and it was too late to request an alternate room. Nonsmoking should be a clean nonsmoking room - this room was obviously smoked in by a recent guest.

If I had to issue grades, it would go this way: Front desk staff: A. They were very friendly and helpful, meeting our needs with a smile. Breakfast people: A. There was some variety each day, and they were service-oriented and friendly. Housekeeping: F. They were MIA most of our trip despite repeated requests to clean our room. We had to go to the front desk for towels. When they finally did clean our room on the fourth day, they threw out a bag of souvenirs. It was a pleasant stay except for the whole housekeeping fiasco.

I stayed for five days while visiting relatives in the area. I will always stay here in the future. The breakfast was so much better than I expected. Food was fresh, plentiful, and featured many different items from eggs, meats, cereals, pastry, etc. The bed was very comfortable, room was spacious, all in all, very nice. Staff was pleasant and helpful. I like this place!

The front desk staff was very friendly. That's the only positive thing I can say about this hotel. The room hadn't been checked or cleaned properly: There was trash left behind from previous guests. We also found dirty washcloths tucked into a cubby under the bathroom sink. There were dried pee stains on the bathroom floor in front of the toilet. The bathroom door was covered in fingerprints, and there were makeup splatters on the mirror frame. The room had a fridge with a broken door that didn't close. There was a draft coming from the window. Fortunately, we were there for only one night. Not staying there again.

Incredible staff and a wonderful breakfast. Everyone was extremely helpful and on top of things. The staff accommodated us in getting adjoining rooms and an early check in. We’ll definitely stay here in the future.

Not a great stay for family
When we checked in, we were assigned an unclean room. After voicing our concerns at the front desk, we were given another room, only to discover that the AC was malfunctioning. There was no temperature control knob, and the AC ran constantly, producing a continuous fan noise. This lack of room temperature control was uncomfortable. Additionally, upon our arrival, we observed a group of people in the lobby area openly drinking. I'm not sure if this is a common practice in New York area hotels, as I haven't encountered such a situation in other hotels I've stayed at across the United States.

Had a very nice stay, The breakfasts were quite good with a daily choice of eggs and meats along with waffles and a variety of beverages. Our room was spacious with good amenities for our 10 day stay. overall, I see me staying here again next year.

I liked that for a decent price you get a comfy bed and nice room and best of all the tub in the bathroom is nicely sized for a relaxing bath with Jets.

Breakfast was a sham . They ran out most stuff in the morning. The staff at breakfast behave as though they were feeding you free! The coffee machine in the room was defective . The room door lock needed multiple tries to open. The safe deposit locker will not work and the staff were clueless on how to rectify it. Not worth the MONEY!
