“Nice hotel, but Why to pay for internet?????”

Good service, excellent maintenance, big room, good neighborhood, but pay for internet $9.99 per day, extremely bad. Expedia need to specified this field more clear in their website.

“Good hotel for money”

Our stay at the hotel was very good for the money - bed was comfortable, included a buffet breakfast as well as convenient to local attractions. Having available brochures/maps would be helpful.

Getting there

A 20 minute drive to Staten Island and taking the ferry is an easy and inexpensive way to see NYC.

Not a bad place to stay. Room was very clean and comfortable. I requested a refrigerator and microwave and the lady at the check in desk said they will bring it up to my room and they never did. on my way out after checking in, I asked her again for the second time and she said the same thing. I went out bought some drinks and food hoping on my return they would have delivered them, but never received them all throughout my stay. Surrounding neighborhood has great restaurants and shopping. Easy access to Newark Airport.

“Can do better”

Suite was nice, but there was no coffee maker, refrigerator or microwave oven. Also, there was a $10 charge per day for use of the internet. I thought we had a really nice place at an decent price, but w/o the extras it was ordinary and aggravating. I felt that Marriott did not live up to their Rep. The location was excellent. All kinds of food and shopping nearby. When I mentioned this stuff at checkout, (they asked) I got the impression that they only asked because corporate tells them to and I saw nothing written down.

“Good location, lovely pool, odd breakfast bar.”

I enjoyed my stay. Great front desk. Easy and free parking, close to two major malls. Very nice indoor pool directly across from an outdoor pool. The breakfast bar, an alternative to the usual overpriced full service restaurant serves the basics but isn't laid out very well and lacks some basic necessities. Very minor complaint. The room was very comfortable! I would highly recommend this hotel to others. Convenient to New York as well and not far from public transportation (train) into New York.

Area recommendations

There is no city there, just the suburbs, and the hotel is located along a very busy highway with lots of shopping, hotels, and restaurants.

Getting there

Very easy to get there from Newark Liberty Airport. Free parking! Always a plus.
