Great location, spacious room, friendly staff.Posted Nov 13, 2013
Pros: Location, cleanliness, size of room, quiet, value.
Cons: Updated furniture & fixtures
Location: There are many dining options on Pierce and Cedar Grove within 1 mile. A short cab ride to New Brunswick with many more upscale and niche offerings.
I have to agree with the common threads among the previous reviews. My wife and I are from NJ and now living in TX. We decided to spend a few days back in the "old country" and wanted a hotel that was close to friends, family, and attractions spread throughout the state and also near NYC and Eastern PA. The location was perfect as this place is about an hour from NYC and Philly, a half hour from Princeton, and just down the road from New Brunswick. Upon arrival we were greeted promptly, checked in, and handed our room keys within 2 minutes. The room contained a living area with couch, coffee table and recliner, a kitchen complete with full size fridge, stove, microwave, toaster, dinner & drinkware. The separate bedroom had a small desk workstation with nearby bathroom and a small walk-in closet. Overall, the room, as many stated, was outdated in decor but adequately clean and in good repair. The mattress was too firm for our liking, but the pillows/comforter were soft and fluffy. This is not a fancy place, but for a stay of several days it provides plenty of space, a very convenient location, and excellent value. The hotel provides complimentary breakfast daily, and there are many local lunch & dinner options such as Freddy's sports bar on Pierce along with several other local restaurants within a mile on Cedar Grove Ln. If visiting from out of town, resist the urge to patronize the insipid chain eatery next door and enjoy some great independent nearby local cuisine.

I often travel with my mom and sister and it's difficult to find a hotel with three beds. This fit the bill. It had a large master bedroom with a King bed, bathroom, vanity area and nice sized walk-in closet. The living room and kitchen were a great area to relax. The kitchen had full accomodations to include a microwave, full sized fridge and oven. The other bedroom had two beds with their own bathroom and closet. We will definitely be staying here again in the future!

Nice HotelPosted Aug 10, 2013
Pros: The breakfast and location
Cons: Easier internet access.
Location: It was close to the trade show I was attending and next door to Ruby Tuesday
Hotel was very pleasant. Hotel staff was excellent. Free internet was difficult. Expedia did not make reservation for a smoking room but the hotel was able to book me one.

Would go again.Posted Jul 30, 2013 on Hotels.com
Our visit was overnight only but I really enjoyed our room. With a full kitchen it was ideal for parents with kids. Even for a night we bring drinks and snacks. It was great to keep them cool and ready to drink. Our room was at the very back of property but again having kids this worked well. It gave them a large green field for them to play in safely. Hotel definitely needs a facelift but it seems this is being currently taken care of. I would definitely look for Sonesta Suites when traveling with my children.

We would definitely stay again, the cost was very good for our situation, we were conveniently located by a train station to get into New York.

Great stay!Posted Jul 24, 2013
Cons: Pool could be cleaned more often if busy.
Great breakfast with excellent selection. Nice evening reception on Tues to Thurs. Good location with nearby restaurants and shops. Staff were friendly and assisted with all issues. Had lots of families so pool & basketball court were busy. Comp laundry is also nice touch.
