Fantastic B&B

Posted Aug 14, 2014 on Hotels.com
This is one of the best B&Bs we have stayed in. The location is amazing, so peaceful and picturesque. Anne and Ash are wonderful hosts and the attention to detail at the property really shows that they love what they do. The cottage is so full of character and is perfectly placed to explore the Porlock area. If you are looking for somewhere to stay in or around Porlock stay here, you won't be disappointed!

Beautiful B&B

Posted Aug 10, 2014
We had a lovely stay at the Tudor Cottage. The room was comfy and nicely decorated. We were made to feel very welcome by the owners, Anne and Ash and we enjoyed a lovely sunny evening in the beautiful garden with homemade cake and tea. Breakfast was lovely and plentiful. Location is just what we wanted: quiet and peaceful and the stunning Lynmouth and Lynton is within driving distance and well worth a visit. Overall we had a great stay and would thoroughly recommend the beautiful Tudor Cottage B&B.

Wonderful short break.

Pros: Excellent hosts, made to feel very welcome.
Location: Porlock very nearby for lunches or dinners. Lovely walks in all directions.
Our 4 night stay in The Luccombe Room was a perfect short break. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts and complimentary flapjacks on a daily basis was a nice touch. Even though bedroom not ensuite you have use of your own private bathroom at end of landing. Breakfast again very good, with a large choice, including my favourite the 'lighter bite' which was a huge plateful of fresh melon , berries and yoghurts accompanied by two fresh croissants. Short walk to beach although this was difficult to walk on as large pebbles. Would make a return visit.

Tolle englische und urgemütliche Atmosphäre,

Posted Aug 3, 2014 on Hotels.com
