Rooms
The Cambridge Beaches Resort offers 94 guestrooms and suites in one- and two-story pink-and-white cottages scattered over a 30-acre peninsula on Bermuda's west side. Some cottages are available only as complete units. One cottage dates from the late 17th century. Others date from the early 1800s when they housed workers for the British Royal Naval Dockyard about three miles north. These still bear the names of their last residents. Some cottages began being used for guests in the 1920s, and the resort grew by buying other cottages over the decades. Now, all buildings on the peninsula are part of the resort.
All rooms, suites, and cottages are air-conditioned and also include ceiling fans as a cooling alternative. Ground-floor patios or second-floor balconies come furnished with lounge chairs and dining sets. CD player/AM-FM radios as well as televisions with U.S. cable channels and pay movies offer entertainment.

“Bermuda visit”
helpful staff. great property. gorgeous view.
“Away from the Madning Crowd”
A gem on the western part of Bermuda. Breakfast was included and a good jump start for the day. Concierge was most helpful making reservations for daily activities, and being close to Dockyard was a plus for various outings. Hotel grounds were one of the largest on the island, and beach was very private. No complaints re our stay!!
“2nd time...Better than first..”
A pleasurable experience throughout. The resort is lovely in every respect.
“Cambridge Beaches is impressive!”
Wonderful stay at Cambridge Beaches Resort and Spa. Cottage was very large with a spectacular view of the Atlantic ocean. Even had our own tiny "private" beach a few steps from our patio. Staff was extremely helpful and the main restaurant had very good food. The included breakfast buffet was delicious too. Great place to get away and relax.
“JUST LOVED IT THERE.WOULD RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE.”
The personnel were great. The room was extremely clean. The view was outstanding. The full breakfast had anything for breakfast you could want and was complimentary saving you money and travel time to eat.Honestly I can't think of anything I didn't like about it.They also had complimentary shuttle to and from the harbor twice a day saving you money on taxi transportation.Their dinners were also delicious.
“Exactly what I hoped for”
I cannot say enough about what a great time we had. Even though we were there for the 'last week of winter'. Even the weather cooperated with us. I would not hesitate to recommend Cambridge Beaches to anyone. The location and the beaches were the best, not to mention the privacy at our cottage. We rarely left the grounds and had a great vacation!
“Tranquil vacation spot”
Lovely place to relax and feel pampered, if you like a traditional feel. Breakfast was fabulous, teatime was cozy, and manicured grounds were lovely. Indoor pool was beautiful. Staff was helpful and friendly. We were there off season, so can't judge the beach and poolside experience, but they looked fabulous. Also, formal dining room was closed due to low occupancy at the resort, but a limited formal dinner menu was offered in a more casual dining area. Food at dinner was excellent but very expensive for small portions. However staff had good recommendations for other local restaurants, and even called to make our reservations. Bathroom fixtures in our room were not in top condition, which made it seem less luxurious and clean than it could have been. Bed was excellent, comfortable mattress and bedding, and all other furnishings were tasteful and modern (in a traditional style). Best part of the accommodations was the VIEW. I could have happily stayed in the room (or on our patio/balcony) the whole time. We definitely hope to go back, and understand why so many people become "regulars" there, if they can afford it!
“Beautiful Bermuda Location”
If you want a very quiet, romantic, and serene stay in Bermuda, Cambridge Beaches offers such an opportunity. For my wife and I, our arrival at the airport and transfer to the hotel transport, provided by Beeline was excellent and on time. Although the weather at times was rough (rainy & very windy) for some of our stay, the hotel experience at Cambridge made the holiday memorable and worthwhile. Our cottage room was above the shoreline, with a stunning ocean view that was framed by tropical fauna. Room service was prompt and reliable and the breakfast offered each morning was nothing short of that fit for nobility. Afternoon tea offered to guests was also a nice pause in the day. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful and met our every want and need. It was a true 5 star experience. Access to bus and ferry lines was a short walk for us, and accommodation was offered for bicycle and scooter usage as well. Cambridge offers ample amenities for activities on site, such as tennis courts, gym, indoor & outdoor swimming pools, hot tub, putting greens, with a private and secluded location, coupled with picturesque rocky coast and beach locales. Located in the far western part of Bermuda, Cambridge Beaches is a 30 minute drive (50 min. via bus) from Hamilton and 10 minute drive from the Dockyards. For couples that want a romantic getaway or a peaceful time alone, Cambridge Beaches is an enticing place to be!
“Relaxing Get-away”
Lovely property, warm and welcoming. We were off season so much of the usual amenities were closed (Breezes restaurant, all the bars). It was just the relaxation we needed but if you want a warm beach vacation I would not recommend Bermuda off season. Loved all the activities on the property (Tennis, Ping Pong, Crochet, putting green, indoor pool) - wish we'd had more time.
