Resort has everythingPosted Jun 3, 2014
Pros: We loved the location and layout. It is so gorgeous. The rooms were fantastic with great views. the staff were wonderful and friendly.
Location: Sailing, power boats, kayaks, paddle boards, snorkeling. Biking.there is a shuttle to the Dockyard where there is lots to see and do.
Cambridge beaches has it all- it's beautiful with beaches on both the Harborside and Oceanside. There is bike and scooter rental on the property as well as paddle boards, kayaks, motor boats, and sail boats. There is croquet and tennis, and a putting green, workout gym, indoor and outdoor pools and hot tub. Free shuttle to Dockyard where you can get the ferry to Hamilton. We road bikes on the rail bed to the beaches along the south coast and went snorkeling. We rented a boat and explored several beaches. Afternoon tea and light snacks are complimentary at 4:00. There was live music for dancing.

Gorgeous view, terrible servicePosted Jun 2, 2014
Pros: The view is spectacular
Our stay was lovely because we chose to have a good attitude about this hotel, but I do wish we stayed somewhere else. The communication among staff and management was non-existent, and no one seemed to know what was going on from day to day. Staff did not know answers to simple questions such as "which restaurants are open tonight" - and worse, they made up answers without verifying. We questioned whether we should go to Dockyard one night and we were told that the cruise ships were in dock, which they were not, and that there was no hotel shuttle. Come to find out, there was a shuttle that would have saved us a $40 cab fare! These were annoyances, and we did not let the ruin our time.

Slice of heavenPosted Jun 1, 2014
Cons: Beds could be more comfortable.
it's hard to put into words how beautiful Cambridge Beaches is. There is a water view from every direction. Totally relaxing, very private, nicest people, and plenty to do. I went with my daughters (32 and 28) and we all want to return asap. Delicious breakfast and tea every day too.

Small quiet hotel near the beachPosted May 19, 2014
Pros: Loved the proximity to the beach…has an infinity pool too although too windy for us when we were there. Staff was all very friendly and accommodating
Cons: Later breakfast hours would be excellent ,
Location: Located on the western part of island, about an hour from Hamilton. There is shopping and restaurants at the Dockyard.
Went for our 20th anniversary. Service was excellent, as was breakfast everyday. Huge assortment of food, although breakfast is early 8am-10am…could be a little later for those that like to sleep in. Beds in cottages were very comfortable as were the robes in the rooms. Staff always friendly and helpful..Beach and water- superb

Wonderful hotel on 4 small beachesPosted Apr 20, 2014
Pros: beach and pool
Cons: groom the beach in April, lower the prices at lunch/dinner
Location: $12 cab ride to the shopping mall/royal dockyard/rum cake factory/blown glass factory walking distance to the Post Office and Squire English Pub
This was my 2nd trip to Bermuda and I found this establishment to be delightful. There are 4 small beaches (although in the off season they are not well groomed). The breakfast was the most phenomenal breakfast that I have experienced and I have been to 45 states and 52 countries. The pools are serene although the whirlpool and hot tub were not hot - actually not even lukewarm. The rooms themselves are pristine and the jetted tub is amazing. Room service was excellent and cheaper than dining in the formal dining room (which was expensive even by Bermuda standards). I welcome questions.

Great hotel in Somerset, Bermuda near the DockyardPosted Apr 11, 2014
Pros: Quiet with lots of open space. Great pool/patio area overlooking the beach
Cons: TV reception was not great, flat panel TV was too small for the room
Location: Walking distance to bus stop + local bar/restaurant on the water in Somerset. 5-10 mins drive to Dockyards shopping/Dolphin Experience/ferry terminal
Even though the Cambridge Beaches is an older property, all the rooms are in cottages spread over a large property so it feels like you are staying in a personal residence. The room we stayed in had newer tile and a great king size bed. The bathroom was big and it had a private back patio with lounge chairs on a grass area overlooking the bay. There was an indoor and outdoor pool, hot tub, 18 hole putting green, and a croquet field.
