Very good hotel in an ideal central location

Posted Jun 26, 2014
Pros: the situation
Cons: parking arrangements
Location: Beautiful amazing cathedral with a spectacular light show on late summer evenings, great restaurants and ambience. Amiens is a lovely city.
Easy to find! We drove into Amiens city centre, and approaching the station we saw signs directing us straight to the hotel. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. I would stay again.

Old world hotel.

Pros: The old world charm and the great position in the main part of the city. It's also close to the train station.
Cons: Making ALL the rooms non smoking.
Location: Close to shopping, train station, the cathedral, cafés on the canals.
We were lucky enough to be given a room which was very recently renovated and it was extremely comfortable. The bathroom was brilliant with a great shower and lovely facilities . The staff were very helpful and friendly and breakfast was a very comprehensive selection. The hotel has a lovely old world character about it which we loved. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone who stays in Amiens.

Pros: NA
Cons: A manager who takes control of unruly guests.
Location: No
Noisy, indifferent management. If you are unhappy that's your problem. If you want to sleep, don't stay here.

Pros: Location
Location: This hotel is well placed within walking distance of the Railway station, Cathedral, shopping and the cafes & Restaurants of the old town.
This is a lovely hotel which is over two hundred years old, sensational location directly across from the railway station and convenient for restaurants and shops. the staff were very helpful, and the included breakfast was of a high standard.
