Great value near the wineries
Posted Jan 18, 2013
Pros: Access to freeway, fridge in room, Starbucks in parking lot, overall value.
Cons: Missed not having a clock in our room.
We needed an inexpensive place to spend a night. Our room was fine - clean and okay for the price. We didn't eat at the continental breakfast (which wasn't much) - we went to Starbucks in the parking lot. The only complaint, a minor one, was no alarm clock in our room. We'll stay there again if we can't find a better deal somewhere else.

Won't be staying there again.

Pros: Starbucks is in the same parking area.
Cons: Cleanliness and making sure all locks, etc. are in working order.
Location: It's the wine country. Enough said.
We've stayed there before and this time we were placed in a corner room that seemed like it was a former storage room, dark, not very clean. Someone in the room above over flowed the tub which had water coming through the fire sprinkler in our bathroom (good thing no one was using the bathroom), so we were moved to an upper room, which was brighter but there was a trick to unlocking the door. Wish they would maintain their hotel better. And given we were in a very popular area, we were stuck there for 3 nights otherwise we would've gone elsewhere. We definitely won't return.

Not what I expected
Posted Jan 9, 2013
Pros: Close to our business meeting.
Cons: No information was given at registration regarding the Continental breakfast or its hours. did not start until 8:00 AM.
Location: Not a pleasure trip
No information given out at checkin regarding continental breakfast. Didn't start until 8:00, very minimal. The air conditioner in the room made loud noise, hard to get a restful night sleep. Employees did not speak English clearly. The pool was green with algae and closed by health dept.

I was happy overall. The night auditor could have been a little more friendly. When asked if I could get an extra coffee for my room since the coffee pots are about a cup in a half, the lady told me she wasn't able to give me an extra coffee bag for my coffee pot. I was able to go down to the lobby in the morning and fill my coffee cup.

Small room, modest amenities

Everything worked, Good shower power and effective heater on very cold night. Cigarette burn hole in bedspread was turnoff in non-smoke hotel. Polite and helpful desk staff. Very minimal continental breakfast. Convenient to 101 on/off.

OK for an Overnight

I travel for business and I'm satisfied with an inexpensive night in a clean hotel with a decent bed, decent shower, and excellent hi-speed wireless. This hotel fits the bill for that. There's also a Starbucks in the parking lot -- hence the 5 for "surrounding neighborhood"
