“Strange location and very run down..great staff”

“Nice place to stay when you're in Sonoma / Napa”

Attractive architecture, spacious lobby with comfortable sofas and a blazing fire, good restaurant, large, clean rooms. The front desk personnel were courteous and very generous with the complimentary cookies. Would definitely go back there.

Area recommendations

We stayed in Rohnert Park because the affordable hotels/motels in Napa Valley were all booked, but it's a good starting point for wine country tours, as it's close to the Russian River, Sonoma and Napa valley growing regions. It's also not far from San Francisco. Santa Rosa is just minutes away and has some great dining options.

“Good for the price”

All was great except two things. Too much road construction nearby made getting around a bit confusing. Bartender at the lobby lounge slow and unprepared. Took her about 7 minutes to produce my specialty margarita.

“Not Impressed”

Paint peeling from ceiling in bathroom, wall paper comming loose from wall in bathroom, drapes in room were badly stained, windows were very dirty on outdide including bird droppings on window, holes in pillow cases. Hotel charges an extreme amout of money to use there WIFI.

“exceptional deal”

My wife and I spent 4 nights at this hotel in late September 2011. Everything about it was excellent, especially considering the price. The room was large enough, comfortable and nicely furnished. The restaurant was very good and the service was top drawer. We would definitely stay there again.

“Convenient and comfortable but needs up dating”

Good location, near Sonoma State. Nice friendly hotel with clean, comfy rooms. Nice restaurant with really good, but pricey food. Hotel and grounds need some TLC, as it is looking a little weathered.
