Reasonable price for room

Posted Jul 30, 2015
Room was modern and updated. Restaurant next door, Adels is fantastic for comfort food. Parking is an issue. Two handicap spaces and remaining spaces around hotel were ALL compact. Additional parking across the street was not safe for vehicles. Front desk girl was not friendly upon check in. Look past parking and front desk and room was reasonable for price and area.

Nice hotel for what it's worth

Posted Jul 30, 2015
The only thing I'd have to say was off, was when I checked in the girl up front gave me a room that was either being occupied or not cleaned. I let her know right away, obviously, and she gave me a new room. Comfortable room, AC, nice t.v and about 10 min walk from downtown! I'd definitely stay there again.

Staff was accommodating and nice. Hotel is a few blocks from 4th St where the restaurants and bars are. Maybe 10 min walk.

Convenient location taken for granted...

Posted Jul 13, 2015
Nasty smell in the air as I first entered the room so I opened windows and the door for a bit. I was tired upon check-in & needed bed rest. The bed was high & at height 5'9" I had to practically climb to bed. Also scraped my right knee from the wooden corner. Low toilet seat for me. No microwave.Wouldn't recommend the hotel to anyone despite the friendliness of the front desk personnel.

Love this place!

We stayed here on our honeymoon. The rooms are so gorgeous. The bed is the most plush and comfy, best I've ever slept in for a hotel. I would stay here anytime.

Great location, new remodel.

Posted Jun 21, 2015
Pros: Clean and newly refurbished. Good WIFI. Got a great price.
Cons: Parking lot stalls too small.
Location: Close to downtown.
Clean, new remodel, ultra modern look. Nice comfortable bed, great TV, very good WIFI...large room, large bath, walk in shower...room well laid-out. Four story motel type, but with elevator. No restaurant in hotel or free breakfast, but Adel's restaurant across street, more like a laneway...easy walk and 15% off. Great food, reasonable prices. Close to everything. Got a great price on it, so satisfied with everything. Excellent pit stop on our road trip. Safeway up the road a bit, and other shopping nearby. Close to freeway. Short hop to San Francisco bay area. About the only issue is the parking lot...all stalls are small and marked "compact"...but few compact cars, mostly pick-up trucks, full-size cars, etc. so stalls very small: hard to park any vehicle and open all doors.

Great place to overnight

Posted Jun 7, 2015
Needed a single overnight near Santa Rosa Junior College, and were very pleasantly surprised. Apparently, the hotel has been recently renovated, and they went all-out. Great beds, modern vibe bathrooms, fun little illy coffee maker, and very, very clean. It isn't somewhere to stay for a resort vacation, but is great if you need to be in Santa Rosa overnight.

Close to Russian River Brewery.

Shower hot water takes 5-10 mins to reach the room. Not good for CA drought.

Remodeled Motel into (Almost) French/Italian Style

Posted Jun 5, 2015
Pros: Room was clean, modern and comfortable.
Cons: Down in the parking lot, you are immediately reminded that this was formerly a Travelodge, complete with people leaning on their trucks, smoking.
Location: Diner across the street - decent place to eat breakfast and lunch.
Our stay was mostly positive. You can safely stay here and get a nice clean room. This is an older building much remodeled and updated. The bones of the building are a 3 story motor hotel (such as an old Travelodge) that has been remodeled from top to bottom. The rooms, bedding, decor and condition are very nice, albeit a tiny bit comical in places. The massive molding in the ceiling is more "Home Depot" than Cote d'Azur - and it extends into the tiny hanger closet, which really is comical to see. The bathroom is nice, but has no shelves or towel hangars. They just stack everything on the sink. The coffee maker was nice, but does take some learning. Two coffee cups of each size would be nice (instead of one lungo and one espresso). And, if you are going European, then a shower wand is far more functional than the overhead rain maker (not all people wish to wash their hair every time they shower). Overall, the design choices seem to have been made by someone other than a designer, and yet the "design" and "style" are the selling points for this facility. 2 coffee cups and a place to hang a towel wold have really improved the stay.
