Awesome retreat

We thoroughly enjoyed out stay which was for 2 nights. From entering into the lobby, the ambiance struck me from the decor of the tables, the sofas and the fireplace to the table settings where we had breakfast. The small things from having a welcome card in our room to the smell of honeysuckle outside our sliding glass doors that entered onto the balcony where we could sip coffee in the morning. The staff was extremely courteous and helped us with reservations. The breakfast in the morning was great from the different quiche to the fruit, yogurt and plenty of juice and coffee. Each table had their own unique vase and flower arrangement. Walking distance to the square where a number of great eating venues await. Couple of really good restaurants at the square. One has great pork chops and the other is Portuguese style food, which was great.. Wished we stayed longer. The room was laid out great. One night it got very cool with the air conditioning system, but not a show stopper. Next night was much better. Has a jacuzzi on 2nd floor outside, but didn't get to try it out. For us we highly recommend the stay at this Inn and hopefully come again.

Nice hotel

"Perfect", was a word we kept hearing in California. The Inn at Sonoma wasn't perfect, but it is a nice hotel. The bed is comfortable and the room attractive and quiet. We did have a hard time finding space for two suitcases that didn't block something important. We had a small patio on the ground floor that we didn't use. The table was a little dirty and there was no view. The room seemed clean. The staff is helpful and welcoming. I enjoyed the breakfast in the pretty lobby area. The Inn's location is fantastic, within walking distance of the shops and restaurants in the Sonoma plaza area.

Loved the room and location...easy walk to the square. Very helpful at the front desk. Needed to have pilot light on fireplace relit but was easy. Didn't need the fireplace anyway during our visit. Nice variety on the breakfasts that were included.

Quick Stay

Pros: It was comfortable, clean, quiet, and very close to the Sonoma Square
Cons: Nothing I can think of
Location: Great location for walking to the square. Went to a wonderful restaurant called Harvest Moon. Highly recommended.
We arrived fairly late (after 8:00 PM) for a one night stay. The staff person John was very pleasant and extremely courteous.

Inn at Sonoma a Delight!

Lovely place to stay...centally located...walking distance to the square. The breakfasts were delicious. The wine and cheese and homemade cookie a fabulous addition. Would stay at any of the four sisters locations.
