“Will definitely return!”

This is one of the prettiest settings in Sonoma - you could check in and never leave. Wine tasting in the PM is wonderful, heated pool and hot tub were well kept, cute touches like ping pong table and free movie rentals. Just strolling through the gardens was very calming and they were so well kept. Staff was friendly and room was very clean and modern.

MacArthur Place was lovely! The room was spacious, clean & quiet. The gardens were beautiful. Nice little extras like a variety of DVDs to borrow, wine tasting in the library & live music on Friday night. Walkable to downtown Sonoma. We can't wait to come back!

“We want to live there!”

When we were getting ready to leave after 4 days we were very sad. My husband said..."I just want to move in and live here". The gardens were fabulous and the services excellent! I can't wait to come back!

“This is where I will stay in Sonoma!”

Our flight was very late and we called ahead and informed the hotel of this problem. They assured us all would be well. Not only was it well, they upgraded us to a wonderful suite. I couldnot find anything wrong with this room. It was perfect! Kudos to the staff for making our stay memorable.

My husband surprised me with an overnight stay at MacArthur Place for my birthday recently and we had a great time! Our room was lovely, very clean, and the sumptuous down comforter on the bed made for a very comfortable night's sleep. The beautiful gardens surrounding the main house, rooms, and cottages made just walking along the walkways from our room a pleasure. As the town square of Sonoma is just blocks away, we enjoyed browsing all the unique shops, having a wonderful lunch at the Girl and the Fig, enjoying wine-tasting along the way, buying lots of fresh locally-made cheeses at the Cheese Factory, and then having a wonderful dinner back at Saddles' restaurant at MacArthur Place. I enjoyed it so much, I told my husband that I think we should make a stay at MacArthur Place an annual birthday tradition!

The setting of the hotel, restaurant and spa is well appointed and positions in a beutiful setting. The suites were etremely well decorated and comfortable with each have their own porch of lanai. The hotel personnel were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful with any and all inquiries.

Beautiful landscaping. Friendly, helpful staff. Convenient location. Jets in hot tub not working but not a big deal.

We were very impressed with not only the hotel grounds and room, but the high quality of customer service by hotel staff. The breakfast was an added bonus and a nice start to the day! We can't wait to go back!
