Pros: Beautiful rooms and grounds!!
Wonderful hotel in Sonoma. Rooms very clean, extremley spacious and comfortable! Fabulous gardens. A thoroughly enjoyable stay!!

MacArthur Place was a lovely hotel and a great place to relax after wine touring during the day. We enjoyed the pool, the wine and cheese happy hour and the fresh breakfast each morning. Our only complaint was a room with a balcony on the street side, we'd recommend another area.

Location: Good location
We enjoyed our stay here. The staff was very helpful, knowledable and friendly. They gave us great suggestions for wine tours and restaurants. The wine tasting at night was a fun time and everyone seemed to enjoy. The continental breakfast in the morning was well prepared and good. Our room was very good. I would gladly stay here again.

We were excited to stay at MacArthur Place as a "splurge" for our Valentine's Day weekend. It was overall very nice, but our main (if only) complaint was the bed. It was very hard and uncomfortable. We figured for the price we spent on the room that we would have a top-notch bed. Other than the bed, everything was great. The service was great, the grounds were beautiful, the breakfast was pretty good. And the room itself was really lovely; we just wished we could have slept a little better!

Beautiful gardens,maintained very nicely. Romantic setting. Easy access to Sonoma town and wineries. Excellent staff...capable and friendly.

Pros: Like staying at a private estate - not just a hotel. Best accomodation experience we have had travelling
Cons: Our stay was much to short to experience all they had to offer
Location: Easy to find - walking distance to the square and many tasting rooms and resturants
This hotel is OUTSTANDING. When we checked in we were upgraded immediately to a suite with a fireplace, jacuzzi tub, walk in closet and private veranda. We had missed that day's free wine tasting, and Justin who checked us in made sure we came back with our wine glasses and he gave us a private tasting. The staff was fantastic, the accomodations were the best we have experienced. Our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer. We will be back.
