Great Hotel!! The heritage room is great, absolutely not necessary to upgrade to one of the more modern rooms. The pools and spa facilities are amazing!!

Fairmont Sonoma Mission is a wonderful place to stay. The traditional rooms have great fireplaces but the suites are the best. The spa is amazing and the service selection is excellent. Lastly, the valet members are incredibly helpful with anything you might in terms of directions.

Excellent amenities, and true class permeates the hotel. Excellent food and attentive staff. We hosted a brunch there for our extended family on Easter, and everything was flawless. The room was as good as any we have ever stayed at - highly recommend the suites.

“A beautiful place to escape when you want to relax!”

I recently spent five nights at the Mission Inn and loved every aspect of my stay. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. I stayed in the Herritage room which was a bit on the small side and in the main part of the hotel. It could be a bit cramped for two people, but for one, it was perfectly fine. I had dinner twice in the lobby bar and the food was amazing (you can order from any of the hotels restaurants menu in the bar). I enjoyed relaxing with a glass of wine in the lobby in the evening - very inviting and comfortable. I spent one full day at the spa, and that is NOT to be missed. If you are looking for a relaxing, beautiful place to escape to, this is the place!

“Lovely spa weekend”

My husband and I recently stayed at the Sonoma Mission Inn and Spa (our first kid-less getaway in 13 years). What a treat! Beautiful serene grounds, lovely hotel. Our room was in the main building (tall people beware of low ceiling on the stairwell), and quite small but very nice. Incredibly lush bed and very nicely appointed bathroom. Fluffy robes to wear on the grounds are provided and appreciated. The hotel pool was calm, great poolside service, and everywhere cold water to drink and fruit to munch on. The spa was wonderful, the bathing ritual relaxing, outdoor pools very nice and even yoga classes and a work out room. And the restaurants in Sonoma are beyond delicious!

“Perfect Sonoma Experience”

We went for my best friend's 40th birthday. There initially was an issue with our reservation but the front desk staff went above and beyond to correct the issue and make our check-in process go smoothly. The grounds are beautifull and the spa is the best I've experienced. Very serene. We will definitely go back!

“Great Honeymoon Hotel”

Enjoyed every minute!! We had a wonderful room for our honeymoon and enjoyed the spa and its fabulous bath ritual. The mineral pool was amaing as we were swimming while it was 50 degrees outside! Didn't get to try the restaurant but heard that is was wonderful!
