“Great hotel!”

We booked the romantic getaway package (with breakfast included). Knowing well that we would get a basic room with it - I mentioned it was my birthday and the Front Desk gal decided to upgrade us (honestly, I wasn't trying for that!). The upgrade was to their cottage suite which was fantastic - fireplace, roomy tub, and super comfy bed. Their turndown service at night was also a nice touch, chocolates on the pillow, TV armoire opened with TV facing the bed, and other things too. To top it off, the breakfast included wasn't a continental breakfast, it was in their restaurant with a real meal! We really loved it.

“great place to go and relax”

The staff at this hotel were excellent. Everyone was very friendly and informative. The wine and jazz festival was a relaxing way to spend the weekend. We couldn't have asked for a nicer group of people. We look forward to Sonoma Jazz Festival 2006!

“Enjoyed it!”

Quiet, but friendly. Sonoma is beautiful, get bikes and ride around. The concierge folks always set us up well for dinners and the tourist office people in the square were great! The hotel was nice, comfy, and clean.

“Planning our next trip”

This was a phenomenal hotel to say the least. My girlfriend and I left the men at home for a girls weekend of R & R. When we checked in, I don't think I've ever spoken to a friendlier front desk clerk, and that was only the beginning. We stayed in a cottage that they offered there and it was wonderful. We indulged in a facial, massage, manicure and pedicure at their spa and ate from their menu as well during our stay. It was also centrally located to several wineries, the main town square and easily accessible from the San Fran airport. They have a shuttle to take you anywhere downtown and pick you up again with a very friendly driver. It was simply the perfect stay. Although we spent a few too many dollars on this trip in total, we started making plans of when we could come back and whom we could bring with us! The concierge was also very wonderful and helped us set up a tour through California Wine Tours. The overall experience was exceptional... especially the courteous and friendly staff. We attended for a girls weekend out, but it would also work as a romantic trip for two or a couples vacation. I'm not sure though that the hotel or it's location are best suited for children. Although there is a small train themepark right across the street, there are probably more child friendly hotels in the area.

“Very Nice”

Thanksgiving Dinner at the Restaurant was OK. I guess I was expecting a world-class gourmet dinner and got a nice typical dinner which seemed too pricey for what it was to me.
