“Overpriced”

Jacked up hotel rates (Labor Day weekend) for a mediocre motel. Very uncomfortable to watch TV, as the bed was super tall and the TV was very low. On a noisy corner - heard all the traffic and had to keep the curtain closed as it opened to a sidewalk - made for a dark room. Heard other guests and doors opening and closing all the time.

“Disappointed”

The rooms are very small with only a tiny window; they were clean and tidy, but very claustrophobic. There is a rather off odor in the hallway. Important to book well in advance because prices go up the closer you get to the day and at their highest are really a rip off for this little room. Management tried to be accommodating.

“Great place to stay”

This really is a great place to stay. The rates when we stayed were better than other lodging facilities n the area. I highly recommend it.

“Good bargain”

Small, older motel located just far enough from the freeway to avoid noise. Rooms were small but clean. Staff was very helpful.

Area recommendations

Beautiful wine country backroads surround this city. Any will lead you to hundreds of excellent wineries. Downtown Healdsburg is quaint and friendly. Good restaurants though pricey.

Must see

Take Dry Creek Rd or West Dry Creek Rd to visit wineries.

“Cute Small Town”

We loved Flying Goat coffee- Big John's Market was well stocked with great picnic items- Healdsburg bar & grill was fun for dinner

“Healdsburg Fixer-upper”

The room was okay, bed was made, floor was clean, bathroom was neat and tidy, but the roof of the hotel leaked and they had a bucket catching the rain water that was coming down. The exit door hand hold was broken off and I scrapped some skin off my fingers opening it because of the rough edges of the metal door opening. It seems the hotel needs a good maintenance person.
