Travelodge Wine CountryPosted Dec 2, 2013
Pros: fridge and microwave
Cons: cleanliness of rooms and friendliness of staff
Location: near downtown Santa Rosa and not too far from wine country
We have stayed here previously but it has really gone downhill since our last visit. There are rarely people in the office and they are certainly not helpful. The breakfast is coffee and plastic wrapped Danish that have probably been around for awhile. The place has great refrigerators and microwaves but the wallpaper and TVs need serious improvement. For the price it's probably okay but it definitely is not worth more than 50-60 dollars a night.

Old, pretty primitive but convenient to Santa RosaPosted Nov 10, 2013
Location: reasonably priced restaurants, target, trader joes
rug dirty, sink cracked, door and door jam so old. Just an old, out of date hotel that does provide a bed and hot water. the only reason I stayed there was it was right on santa roa avenue and convenient to the 101, the 12, Trader Joes, Applebees, Target etc.

Noisy, run down and overpricedPosted Sep 15, 2013
Pros: Leaving it.
Location: In a commercial area of town. No idea about things to do nearby, as I was in transit.
Shabby exterior, worn and badly maintained, very noisy. Outside areas looked as if they had been abandoned. It would have been expensive at half the price.

Do not stay herePosted Aug 23, 2013 on Hotels.com
The non smoking room smelled badly. I had to go get air freshner from the hotel owners. Also, the grounds are very dirty; the sidewalks are filty.

A pleasant, economical, no-frills motel.Posted Jul 18, 2013
Friendly staff, easy parking, good location (a few hundred yards from US Highway 101. The freeway noise was faint, the neighborhood is commercial but pleasant and convenient. I arrived, was checked in quickly, found the room comfortable (although the office chair was far too low to the ground to work with the table desk), and everything working. A big flat-screen TV was the main amenity.

Older motel - but cleanPosted Jul 18, 2013 on Hotels.com
This is an older motel, totally lacking in ambiance, but the room was very clean, and the personnel very helpful. We were in a non-smoking room, and were pleased to find that it did not have a cigarette odor. However, the room had only one window which faced the back and was only a few feet away from a chain link fence and the back of someone's old motor home. Beds were comfortable and clean.

The hotel was not as on the internet.Posted Jun 30, 2013
Cons: They need to remodel this Travelodge. The hotel should match the internet pictures. This was terrible.
The 2 queen beds was not available. The swimming was out of order. The bathroom did not look anything like the internet. This was not a good hotel.

Decent MotelPosted Jun 24, 2013 on Hotels.com
Decent motel and very reasonable. I will consider staying there again. Older place that's been (mostly) refurbed but not lavishly. Bed comfortable, room clean. Near freeway so a bit noisy. Owner/managers friendly and helpful.

needs a remodelPosted Jun 19, 2013 on Hotels.com
The breakfasts were a joke not enough for all the guests never bread for the toaster. If you only wanted cold cereal you would like it. There wasn't any towel racks to hang towels so if we wanted to reuse them as they suggested. Room needed a remodel. walls had pictures or fixtures removed and not patched.

Pretty crappyPosted May 5, 2013
In a bad part of town, glad my wife didn't come with me for this trip. I guess the low cost indicates exactly that you get what you pay for. Oh well! :)
