Great Place

The Inn is wonderful. The staff was very nice and helpful. The room was clean and nicely decorated- loved the fireplace. The spa staff was also wonderful, had a great massage. Would highly recommend the hotel. Also suggest visiting Applewood Restaurant for a great dinner!

Sonoma Inn & Spa in Yournville

Posted Oct 21, 2010 on Hotels.com
The hotel is listed as outside Calistoga, but this is actually very misleading, as it is over 1 hour drive away from Calistoga, along windy little roads. In exeptance of "outside", it should be no more than a 15-20min, max drive away, otherwsie it should be listed under the town the hotel is actually in. Apart from that the room was very comfortable, with beautiful gas fireplace, excellent, and the kitchenette was very well equipped. A 24/7 Safeway supermarket is just 2 blocks away, extremely convenient, and the hotel is totally quiet and beautiful located.

Beautiful Little Hotel and Neighborhood!

Posted Aug 29, 2010 on Hotels.com
Beautiful location with redwood trees around great landscaping. Comfortable large room with really nice bed. Neighborhood around hotel is quaint and had many good places within walking distance. Easy walk to the Russian River. Korbel and many other wineries just up the road. We loved it!

A little oasis in the midst of Guerneville

It was our first visit to Guerneville. I used this site and Trip Advisor to lead me to a reasonably priced quality hotel. We were not disappointed.

Will definitely return!

Hotel was lovely...beautiful location, outdoor pool and wonderful patio (with outdoor fireplace!) to enjoy. The bed was not only the best hotel bed I've stayed in, but one of the best beds I've ever slept in. I've been home almost two weeks and still thinking enviously of that HOTEL bed! :) We enjoyed massages at the spa, a picnic in the courtyard of the hotel and enjoyed chilled champagne and snacks keep cool in the mini fridge in our room. This place really goes above expectation to think of the little things like an ironing board and iron in each room. We will definitely come back!

Very restful

Posted Apr 8, 2010
The hotel was in a very quiet area, it was a little bit of a drive to get to the coast or the wineries, but very scenic and nice. When we checked in the girl at the front desk was very helpful, we asked what was nearby to maybe go for a walk and she suggested a beautiful state park with giant redwoods that was only maybe 2 miles away. She also suggested the best restaurant, very quaint and right on the coast overlooking the ocean called River's End, excellent food, prices and service! The room was nice and clean, they had been recently refurbished. The rooms are all private with a covered entry/porch area. They had a pool and spa which we didn't try, make sure you order your spa treatments prior to arrival because the employees are off site and come by appointment. The breakfast was small but nice, fresh fruit selection was good, and pastries were fresh. The property was in a semi- residential area so very quiet. The town was small and didn't have much to offer, but just a short scenic drive and your at the coast or wine country. All in all very nice stay.

AHHH-mazing

Having never been up to Guerneville, we didn't know what to expect from the area. The West Sonoma Inn & Spa is a very cute, well-appointed and wonderful staff. We were upgraded to a suite that was HUGE. Fireplace, kitchen, living room, SUPER comfortable bed. Steps from the main shopping area of town, very convenient to stores. Will definitely be staying here again.
