GREAT LOCATION-GREAT BREAKFASTPosted Aug 10, 2014
Pros: LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION , FREE BREAKFAST BUFFETT AND FREE MAKE YOUR OWN WAFFLES
Cons: MORE THOROUGH CLEANING OF THE ROOM PAINT JOB
Location: IF YOU ARE IN NORWAY ON A SUNDAY, BE WARNED A LOT OF STORES-GROCERY STORES CLOSE SO BE PREPARED WHEN PLANNING FOR YOUR TRIP.
MY SISTER AND I STAYED HERE FOR 3 NIGHTS, WOULD DEFINATELY COME BACK. GREAT LOCATION IF YOU ARE COMING BY TRAIN, LITERALLY A 5 MINUTE WALK DOWN THE STREET. THE CENTRE IS A 10 MINUTE WALK (TRONDENHEIM IS NOT A LARGE AREA). BREAKFAST WAS VERY GOOD AND THEY OFFERED EVERY NIGHT FROM 6 TO 9 PM FREE MAKE YOUR OWN WAFFLES, A VERY NICE TOUCH SINCE NORWAY IS VERY EXPENSIVE!!!!! WE ASKED FOR A QUIET ROOM AND WAS GIVEN A ROOM OVERLOOKING THE STREET, TRY AND AVOID!! ON A SATURDAY NIGHT WE HAD TRAFFICK, CONSTRUCTION AND SINCE THERE IS NO AIR CONDITIONING WE HAD TO KEEP WINDOWS OPEN AND USE A FAN. THE HOTEL IS AN OLDER BEST WESTERN, GREAT FOR FAMILIES, TRAVELLERS ON A BUDGET WHO DON´T NEED OR WANT ALL THE EXTRA AMENITIES. WE REALLY ENJOYED OUR STAY AND WOULD DEFINATELY STAY HERE AGAIN!!!

Great location - City CentrePosted Jun 24, 2014
Location: In the city centre-it was accessible to all. The bus to & from the airport was right outside the door and everything else was within walking distance.
Loved the location. The room was good - a bit noise as the room faced the street. Next time, I would ask for one of the back facing rooms. The breakfast provided was good and it was nice to be able to just walk downstairs for it and the evening waffles were delicious (very unexpected).

Nice hotelPosted Nov 24, 2013
Very nice workers and facility, except the bar/sitting area was too close to the door, making it very cold. I overheard a cleaning person say she'd never stay there, and then never did clean our room. But she was the exception, bartender was great.

Good hotel close to train stationPosted Nov 4, 2013
Pros: Price, helpful staff, breakfast
Cons: Feel everything could do with a bit of modernising
Location: Trondheim is tiny - everything to see was within a 20min walk
Had a fine stay here. Staff helpful. Allowed to store bags for the day pre and post check in/out Breakfast was nice, plenty of variety. Room was quite clean but a bit tired. Few things broken including shower head. Trondheim is tiny so everywhere was very accessible from here.

Good hotel with friendly staff.Posted Oct 22, 2013
Pros: Its central location and value for money.
Cons: The decor is getting a bit dated, though I except hotels refurbish every few years.
Location: Great location for the city, cathedral, the old quarter and shops
Hotel is central for city and transport, the staff were friendly and helpful, recommending best places to eat for our taste.

Tired old hotel in a good locationPosted Oct 22, 2013 on Hotels.com
This is an old, heavily-trafficked hotel with confusing layout and the bare minimum of amenities. Staff are terrific, breakfast is plentiful, it's right on a stop for the airport buses. On the other hand, my window looked out at a blank wall six inches away, there was virtually no natural light, the hallway floors echoed like crazy so I heard every single person that passed by. Since lots of groups stay there, that was a noisy experience. The wifi was a little funky but it did function. Best thing about it is staff and location.

ok, but not great!Posted Jul 22, 2013 on Hotels.com
staff very helpful. Hotel public areas ok, but bedrooms dated and need investment.

Very Nice quick visit to TrondhiemPosted Jun 8, 2013
Just stayed one night following a 2 week cruise. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. They stored my luggage prior to room being ready, prepared fresh coffee and sent me out with a map and itinerary to see the city. Room was clean with nice bath and quiet.
