“Inexpensive but ok hotel in Trondheim”

This hotel is good for the money. The rooms are small (the single room has a *twin* sized bed, which is ok for a single person but maybe not if your really tall). Overall good room, but compact. The hotel charges for breakfast if you book with the expedia special rate. (15 Kroner, about $3). The bus from the airport stops *right in front* of this hotel and its very convenient if you are going to the Cathedral or theatre/movies in Trondheim. Its a short (3-4 block walk) from the harbor and about a block from the town hall, so very good location.

“Good hotel for a decent price”

The hotel is centrally located and very easy to get to. For those who have never been to Trondheim (it was my first) all the bus routes to include the one from the airport go through the center of town. The hotel is nice enough, the breakfast is great and lasts a long time, from 630 to 1030, so perfect for early and late risers. I always had more than enough to eat. The room was small, but sufficient, but it was a single bed, like one meter wide, so definitely for just one person. Some basic TV channels to include BBC. The showers etc were sufficient. The only thing I would say that was a negative is that the facility is kind of run down, or rather, worn out, frayed carpet, that kind of thing, but definitely clean and safe. Also, if you are on the 7th floor, you have to take the elevator to six and carry your bags one flight up. Since I was there for a wedding, I wasn't too worried about the hotel, but from what I remember, the price was decent for what I got. It is a place to sleep, shower, get a breakfast, and see the city without having to worry about much. And close to all bus routes to include airport (one block away). 7-11 one block away too.

“Rainbow Hotel Trondheim”

One of the worst hotels I have stayed in. The staff were unfriendly and unhelpful.
