“Natalie and Ron's Italian Honeymoon”
Our Honeymoon at Grand Hotel Ambasciatori was wonderful. The staff was really professional and extremely helpful, from setting up our car service to arranging our cooking class for us. I've stayed in Europe at numerous hotels and typically the accomodations aren't as luxurious as what you would find at a hotel in America. But this hotel exceeded my expectations for a typical European Hotel. The typical European breakfast is normally just cake and coffee and if your lucky you get some meat and cheese. The buffet at Grand Ambasciatori consisted of many types of pastries, fruits, yogurt, cereals, meats cheeses, bread, hot bacon, sausages, potatoes, an omelette station and a pancake station! The grounds were exceptionally well-kept. The view from every point of the hotel was absolutely stunning! The location of the hotel was perfect, on a quiet strip on the water only a 2 minute walk from the Piazza! We can't wait to go back next year for our anniversary!
“MY WONDERFUL STAY AT THS HOTEL”
i can,t say enough about this beautiful place, the intire staf especially from the regerstration desk. my partner who fell aND INJERED HER KNEE WHEN WE WERE RETURNING FROM THE ISLE OF CAPRI, TOOK VERY GOOD CARE OF OUR NEEDS.I WOULD LIKE TO GIVE THEM A SPECIAL THANKS. I WOULD GO THERE AGAIN AND HIGHLY RECOMEND THIS BEAUTIFUL HOTEL. PLEASE FORWARD THIS TO THE GRAND HOTEL AMBASCIATORI
“A great hotel in Sorrento, Italy”
The staff were most helpful. The only thing I would recommend is that the hotel make available free computer access. Given the rates, I don't think this would be too much to ask for. When staying in Rome at a 3 star hotel, they did have free access on their computer. Other than that, the Grand Hotel Ambasciatori was perfect!!
“Beautiful hotel”
Wonderful time in a beautiful hotel. Love the breakfasts. Get a sea view room.
“Beautiful Property”
This is a beautiful hotel on a large well maintained property. It is a short 10 minute walk to the downtown area with great shopping and restaurants. The room was average for the price, but comfortable, and with a great view of the mediterranean. There is a private dock on the water for swimming which was great. One of the staff members was very rude but overall everyone else was friendly, and ordering food and drinks were very expensive. Overall, we would definitely stay here again. The property has amazing views of the sea and is very large.
“Perfect place to stay”
This hotel is very beautiful and the staff is so nice. They all speak perfect english which is very helpful. The breakfast is quite impressive and yummy. The view of Sorrento is breathtaking. Amazing, we stayed here on our honeymoon and never wanted to leave.
“English speaking hotel”
Nice clean hotel, good location, good breakfast, and friendly service.

“Italy aniversary Oct 2011”
Hotel Ambasciatori was perfect in every way, location, staff, breakfast, room view, short distance to central Sorrrento, Staff advice on resturants was excellent, had our aniversary dinner at Tarros, excellent, Boat ride to capri with tour was excellent.
“One of the Best”
The view of the Bay of Naples and Mt Vesuvius was spectacular. The accommodations were lush. The hotel staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful. And while I generally to not like to eat at the hotel, we enjoyed two wonderful dinners at the hotel restaurant (which also overlooks the Bay of Naples and Mt Vesuvius) which rivalled any that we had during our two weeks in Italy. I would go back in a heartbeat and would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone going to Sorrento. It is about a 5-10 minute walk from the trainstation.
