Very nice room, beautiful views.>Posted Dec 12, 2013
Pros: The views!
We were upgraded to a partial sea view which was beautiful. Very nice staff, English speaking, and very helpful. Lovely property. Great shuttle service to town. Only problem was there was a few ants in the room, which I know happens when it rains, and it did rain a few times when we were there.

Hotel on a hill overlooking the sea and Sorrento.Posted Nov 19, 2013
Pros: The entire experience.
Cons: I cannot think of anything.
Location: We enjoyed the 15 minute walk down the hill into town. Several nice squares to visit and shop in very nice stores. Very interesting small town.
Very nice hotel with a great view of the sea. Breakfast was very good with a great number of selections and very good service. Eat in or out on a deck with a very nice view. We were given a room upgrade which was certainly appreciated. The hotel was very clean with friendly employees who helped us navigate around Sorrento. Convenient bus pickup up just a short distance from the train station. Free Bus service into and from Sorrento about every hour. We slept like logs and kept the window open for a nice breeze. Air conditioning not required when we stayed the end of October. Just a short walk down the hill into town, if one wants good exercise and to see olives and citrus orchards/groves and interesting homes.

Airy Hotel Fantastic ViewsPosted Nov 15, 2013
Bright and airy hotel with a fantastic view. Friendly staff, my little girl made friends with just about every waiter! It is a way out of town but there is an hourly shuttle bus which works well. Would recommend.

Lovely, grand hotelPosted Nov 11, 2013
Pros: The staff were very helpful, friendly and did their utmost for an enjoyable stay.
Cons: A small thing-a little stool or table in the bathroom to set shaving, make-up kits on would have been helpful.
Location: Free shuttle takes you into Sorrento, then the train to Pompeii is very easy to access.
Enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend booking the rooms in the main hotel. We enjoyed the view from the annex although the views from the main hotel are stunning. Nice touch having coffee, tea available in the room rather than having to go to the main building. The staff were very professional and helpful.

Very Good Value, excellent service and viewsPosted Nov 6, 2013
Pros: Friendly and helpful staff. Views across the Bay of Naples towards Sorrento and Versuvius.
Cons: Although the breakfast is good it was a little surprising there was little fresh fruit or fresh fruit juice which would have been nice.
Location: 15 minutes walk or a shuttle bus to the centre of Sorrento. Plenty of shopping, cafes and good restaurants, Pompeii and Almafi drive a must.
Excellent hotel with very friendly staff who went out of their way to help. Tremendous views, very clean, good size room, good breakfast with plenty of choice (especially if you like sweet things) including a hot breakfast. Shuttle bus a god send especially for the return service though the walk down to the centre was nice and easy. For the price paid a real bargain and we can highly recommend.

Typically superb Italian HotelPosted Nov 5, 2013
Pros: Staff, shuttle bus, breakfast, annex room/sea view. Restaurant starters/Prima
Cons: House red wine. Restaurant veg.
Location: Fairly high up, so good to wander, enjoying view. Not much else up there within half a mile, but great walk down to Sorrento. (hard walk back up).
Fabulous staff, particularly the young receptionist lady and restaurant head waiter. Incredible view of Bay of Naples/Vesuvius. Great free hourly shuttle bus service (check the detail of exactly where the Sorrento departure point is beforehand - the map is wrong). Annex room with balcony had fantastic view. Bed a little lumpy but solved by adding underblanket. Annex very pleasant short walk away. Lovely walk down to Sorrento.Breakfast superb. Took evening meal twice - prima/starter superb, secondo was very good except overcooked veg on second night. House red a little lightweight and quality fell short of price (£18/bottle) when far superior house reds in Sorrento are typically E10/half litre. Practicalities - Curerri bus excellent from Airport to Sorrento station.

Great value for moneyPosted Oct 24, 2013
Pros: Value for money
Cons: Better quality of food for breakfast
Location: 15min easy walk to town, tiring walking back up though due to the steep path back up to the hotel. Glad we were not staying in the town centre
This hotel exceeded our expectations. For the price we were not expecting much but we're really surprised with the quality of the hotel. The staff here are also really friendly and helpful. The slight downside is the breakfast and the room was quite basic but can't complain taking into account the pros. The hotel is out of town which is good due to the busy traffic and the shuttle bus is handy if you don't fancy the 15min walk to town. We actually stayed at a hotel approx 5 times as expensive for the last part of our holiday as it was our wedding to treat ourselves but really wish we had stayed here. Would definitely recommend, all our wedding guests stayed here also and thought the hotel was brilliant value for money.

Great hotel beautiful viewsPosted Oct 21, 2013
Stayed at grand hotel aminta for 5 nights. We loved it since we step foot in. We had an attic room which had the most amazing view though the whole hotel had amazing views. The staff were very friendly. Breakfast was really good as were their lunch and dinners!! The shuttle bus was great since the hotel is up in the mountain and a little far from the main plaza. We worud definitely stay there again.
