Lovely hotel in a stunning settingPosted Jul 27, 2015
The hotel is beautiful with the most amazing views of the bay of Sorrento from the many terraces. There are five pools to choose from, all very busy when we were there, but again stunning views. The rooms are clean and spacious. The hotel is a short walk into the town and Marina Grande. The breakfast was average, it could have been improved by more choice, but the staff were very efficient. Sadly the reception staff were quite abrupt and unhelpful. We hired a car, the parking was good, but they charged us €21 a day to park. Drinks were also very expensive almost double the price of bars in town. Overall we had a really enjoyable stay here.

Lovely Location with Great ViewsPosted Jul 21, 2015
Fantastic hotel with great facilities and close to the centre. Most if not all rooms seem to have great views across the bay, which you also get from the pool(s) area that is fabulous and very tranquil. Would definitely stay there again.

Can't fault the hotel.Posted Jul 20, 2015
Pros: Staff, swimming pool, food, view, access to the town. One of the best hotels we have ever stayed in and spot on for our 30 th wedding anniversary
Cons: Keep it as it is.
Location: Amalfi Drive, hired Fiat 500 c convertible to do that. Paestum Greek temples (2hrs south but worth the drive). Pompeii. Naples Archaeological Museum..
Booked half board by mistake but what a great mistake. Food consistently delicious. Varied menu over the two weeks we were there and wide window of time 7 pm to 9-30 pm to have it. We will return one day.

Fabulous hotel , excellent friendly staffPosted Jul 20, 2015
Pros: Ease of access to the town. Beautifully furnished , extremely comfortable , friendly helpful staff.
Cons: A bit more variation with breakfasts
Location: Only 10 minute walk into Sorrento
Once you get used to the slightly strange layout of the hotel its a fabulous place to stay. Fantastic views from the pool areas and the hotel is superbly furnished. Its only a short walk into town (crossing the road is an experience). The staff are extremely friendly and helpful , the rooms are superbly clean. Only had breakfasts there which were again excellent. Difficult to fault it.

Great location, stunning views.Posted Jul 18, 2015
Pros: Service, location, room, pool, all good.
Location: Five minute walk down to the main road through Sorrento, to explore and find restaurants, easy to find with great views.
A beautiful hotel in a great location for exploring Sorrento. Fab check in, bottle of chilled Prosecco waiting on arrival. Arranged a car transfer through the hotel from the airport, which was great service. Rooms are spacious and ours faced the bay with a little terrace to enjoy the view.

We spent our honeymoon at the capodimonte and had the most wonderful stay. The hotel is in a great location, 5 minutes walk from the town centre with stunning views over Sorrento. The hotel is immaculate and the staff we fantastic. We would definitely recommend this hotel!

Stunning luxury hotelPosted Jul 14, 2015
This is the second time we have stayed at Grand Hotel Capodimonte. The standards are just as high as they were on our previous visit, if not higher. Everything about the hotel, the staff, the facilities, the rooms and it's location are superb. A wonderful stay!

Nice hotel within walking distance of town.Posted Jul 7, 2015
Pros: Views! Views! Views!
Cons: Desk staff could be nicer.
Location: Within a 10 minute walk of the main downtown square. Lose yourself by wandering and you'll run across amazing places to get food/drinks/shopping.
The hotel is close to town and is a nice 10 minute walk to most of the action. Amazing views at the breakfast buffet and great food to back up the view. The desk staff is a little stiff and initially they don't seem very accommodating. Rooms are small but clean. If you get a balcony with the view, you forget about the room size pretty quickly. If you are using the pool it's nice but not easy to get too and smaller than photos appear. I'd probably stay at this hotel again if I go back to Sorrento.

Top rated hotel, run by top rated staff.Posted Jul 2, 2015
Pros: Everything, rooms very comfortable and kept to high standard
Cons: We did request a double bed, but we're given twin beds, bit disappointed, but that's the only thing.
Location: Just a couple in minutes walk the centre of Sorrento, ideally placed and quite.
Breakfast, lunch, dinner all top quailty. Swimming pool idea and only a 10 min walk to centre of Sorrento. Will be returning again.
