Close to Sorrento town -walking distance

Posted Oct 30, 2014
Friendly staff, I wouldn't come again for the food. We had A la Carte menu as we are gluten free - they could only offer steak or chicken- one way! Good quality meat but not what they display by any means on their website.

Nice hotel in sorrento close to centre

Posted Oct 26, 2014
Stayed for one week at hotel grande capodimante in October 2014. Good location and only a short walk from centre. Pool area is fabulous and plenty of options for areas to sit. Setting and interior of hotel lovely where service was very good. We stayed bed and breakfast and food choices were great. Would definately return to this hotel

This was by far the best hotel we stayed at in Italy. Excellent service at dinner in restaurant next to pool.

Lovely stylish hotel. Close to amenities.

Posted Oct 12, 2014
This was a lovely hotel and most staff really helpful and friendly . The gardens are beautiful and it's all very well maintained. The swimming pools are lovely but VERY cold but refreshing once in!!!. Food was of very good standard and views from outside dinner room excellent. Our first bedroom on floor three had a lovely city and sea view but the traffic noise was awful and we were below the dinner room so noise of scrapping chairs a nuisance. We then upgraded to level six where traffic noise was better but still a noises hotel because of doors slamming and chairs scrapping ng and people walking on tiled floors. Other all an excellent hotel and we would recommend it but try and chose room well to get the quietest room so it feels more relaxing.

Prefect stay

Posted Oct 7, 2014
Pros: Everything from the views to the pool and the yummy food.
Cons: Nothing :))
Location: Location is prefect close to center. We rented a convertible car for the day however you should be a confidant driver streets are very narrow.
We are just back from short weekend and this hotel was so lovely, our sea view was amazing. We stayed half board and opted for breakfast and dinner but you could have chooses lunch by the pool instead of dinner. The hotel is a short walk from the center of town but in return you get the amazing views from the pool or room, this is a big plus which none of the town center hotels could offer. If you arrive by boat you can simply take a bus up to the town then either walk to the hotel or take a second bus unless you want to pay a taxi which cost a lot!!! The hotel has live music every night. I would totally recommend this hotel and would love to visit again.

Best location in town

Posted Oct 7, 2014
We booked a superior room and we're a little worried when told it was on the ground floor & had a noise issue as it was next to the road. Despite this it was actually up on the 3rd floor & only noisy when sitting on the balcony. However great view & they worried us unnecessarily. Totally stunning place & the view and pools are worth the 5 min walk out of town

Great hotel, beautiful views, well appointed

Posted Sep 20, 2014
Pros: Comfortable bed, quiet, clean, great breakfast, convenient location, wonderful views.
Cons: Can't think of anything
Location: Short walk into the main tourist centre with plenty of shops and restaurants. A slightly longer (15 mins) to the train / bus station
We loved our stay - the room was very comfortable and quiet with lovely views, well appointed and maintained and scrupulously clean. Conveniently situated a short walk into town. Staff were helpful and efficient, breakfast was excellent with a very wide choice. Would recommend this hotel highly, especially for adults without children - didn't see any children staying at the hotel.
