'The Grand Budapest ( Cesare Augusto) Hotel'Posted Sep 5, 2014
This hotel has the perfect location for your stay in Sorrento. The staff is extremely polite, helpful, and friendly. Short walk to train station, town center, and beach. The hotel is slightly outdated- but with a few updates can be the grand hotel it once must have been. Great value for the price- would recommend to everyone.

One of the Great Hotels in SorrentoPosted Aug 31, 2014
Pros: The location and the ease of getting around.
Cons: Just keep up the good work.
Location: This is one of the best locations, you walk out of the hotel and your about 500 feet from one of squares. Great shopping dinning and wonderful people
I had stayed here before on a Grand Circle Tour and enjoyed if very much. I love this location and the hotel staff is the best.

Lovely hotelPosted Aug 25, 2014
Pros: All of the staff were excellent and always willing to help.
Cons: Free wi-fi provided but not totally reliable. However there is a PC in the lobby for guests to use which worked fine.
Location: Centrally located within easy walking distance to the train station and ideally placed to explore Sorrento.
The hotel was lovely with very friendly and helpful staff. The roof top pool is a bit small but apart from that all the other facilities were fine. Food was good, with plenty of choice for breakfast.

Great Sorrento HotelPosted Aug 5, 2014
Pros: As above.
Cons: Updating of rooms.
Location: A very well and centrally positioned hotel in Sorrento and very close to the main piazza and restaurants and easy walking distance to major attraction
A very well and centrally positioned hotel in Sorrento and very close to the main piazza and restaurants and easy walking distance to major attractions ie Marinas. Rooms were a little dated but great for just sleeping in and bathroom was a very good size and were kept very clean. Towels and sheets replenished daily and very helpful staff in all areas of the hotel. Pool was small but the view from the rooftop/pool area were outstanding. Breakfast had a wide selection of items to choose from and again very helpful staff. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone booking a trip to beautiful Sorrento.

Did great room not so shore if would have been so good at the front, very noisy I imagine. Great location for station and town centre but even 5th floor sea view room sitting on the balcony at night still noisy, room good , bed very hard breakfast ok

Great location, friendly staff , very comfortablePosted Jul 30, 2014
Pros: Good comfortable and relaxing environment. Rooftop pool was a bonus and the roof terrace / bar was great for relaxing. Refrigerator in room helped too
Cons: Would have been good to have had a kettle / tea / coffee making facilities and it was not clear whether evening meals were available to purchase.
Location: Great location for exploring, The town is interesting and it is easy to get to Capri [boat] and Pompei [Train].
Everything was great from check in to check out. They had arranged three adjacent rooms for our party so it was easy for us to organise ourselves. Great location only 2 or 3 minutes from the centre and even closer to the railway station. Next to a busy main road but road noise was acceptable even though we were on that side of the hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful - good English spoken and they put up well with our attempts at Italian! Breakfast selection was very good and varied. The best we've had in an Italian hotel;

Excellent locationPosted Jul 22, 2014
Pros: Location, location, location. And very friendly staff!
Cons: No wi-fi in the room.
Location: Between the town centre and the railway station, easy walks to both. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from in the town.
Stayed here for six nights, and was very pleased with the hotel. The important thing for us was location, and this hotel is just a few minutes walk from the railway station and the town centre. We found the staff were helpful and friendly, especially the waiters! We had a decent sized room on the 5th floor with a balcony, and nice sunshine in the morning. Breakfast was fine and met our needs. Fresh fruit was available. There are shops nearby where you can buy water at a good price (essential in July). Our only disappointment was the wi-fi not being available in the room.
