“What a View!”

This is a terrific hotel! Our stay here was one of the best we had during our travels. The views were breathtaking. The staff went out of their way to welcome us and make us feel comfortable. Every staff member we came in contact with was kind beyond compare! Our room was large, clean, and comfortable. The only minor issue we had with our room was noise during the night. The walls must have been very thin. Otherwise, we thoroughly enjoyed lounging by the pool or sitting on the balcony by the bar and taking in the scenery. This is a hotel that allows you to kick back and relax. Definitely get a room with a sea view if they have one. Although we spent two nights in a sea view room, we had to spend our first night without a view, and it just wasn't the same. The breakfast was delicious and it was served on the balcony overlooking the sea. What a great way to start a day! You won't regret booking at this hotel!

“Outstanding Service, Sorrento Views & Accommodations”

Excellent service & style from the moment of check-in. Gorgeous views of the Sorrento valley. Grounds & facility manicured & well-maintained. Wonderful room & amenities. Wonderful pool, deck & bar with spectacular views & services. Only downsides: Food & beverage pricing thru-the-roof by local standards! While food was well-prepared & delicious, dinner service in the unappealling cafeteria-style restaurant was rushed, freanetic, & pricey! Bring your wallet, and prepare to be pampered! Thumbs-up to a great place to relax!

“Beautiful hotel in Sorrento”

We stayed at the hotel for three nights and booked three rooms. All rooms were clean and beautiful. As for bathrooms: two bathrooms were very clean and large, but one was outdated and not clean (305). The bottom line is: the hotel is very nice with great views, all rooms are large and clean, the breakfast is fantastic, shuttle bus is always on time (takes about 10 min. to go down to Sorrento), but if you want to be more flexible with coming down and going up, and not to spend any additional money on a taxi (about 30 euro) one way than you would need to stay down in Sorrento. We would choose to stay in this hotel again with no doubts!!!

“A great value”

There are many positives about Hotel President and it is definitely a good value. The hotel's many terraces and pools are first-rate with a spectacular view of Sorrento and the Bay of Naples and Mt. Vesuvius. The buffet breakfast each morning was great -- plenty of food and coffee. The hotel also provides a courtesy bus to take you in and out of the central part of the city, since the hotel is located up a hill about 10-15 minutes away (don't even think about walking it...) The staff was very helpful and responsive.

“The echo chamber”

The hotel is well maintained and gives a wonderful view from the rooms facing the sea. The biggest problem is that all of the floors, in the hallways and in the guest rooms, are tile floors. As a result, you can hear someone who is in the hallway even if they are whispering. If you are sleeping and someone walks down the hallway with hard shoes, you will be instantly awakened. This is also true if someone in the room above you is waking with hard shoes. The included breakfast was not very good so we did not eat here for supper. You are very far from the city but they have a bus service that takes you to the town / back to the hotel every 2 hours or so. Overall, I would not stay there again because of the difficulty sleeping due to the echo effect from the tile floors.
