Charming hotel with wonderful coastline views.

Posted Jul 27, 2015
Pros: The outside space and wonderful views of the Amalfi coast.
Cons: Complimentary tea and coffee in rooms (as charged daily). Hot food at breakfast needed to be hotter and plates should be warmed.
Location: The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Sorrento so it's an idea base. The train and bus stations are only 5 minutes walk.
A delightful hotel located in the heart of Sorrento. Spectacular views of the Amalfi coast and Mount Versuvius. Highly recommendable to pay the extra money and get a sea view! Fabulous facilities as well as a pool and bathing platform. Perfect locations following a day out activity.

Beautiful Hotel.

Posted Jul 26, 2015
Pros: This hotel is luxurious and very well positioned in Sorrento.
Cons: The hotel could replace tea and coffee portions free of charge and allow guests to use the fridge.
Location: The location couldn't be bettered. Sea front, looking out at Vesuvius. Very close to Sorrento town with its shops and restaurants.
When I opened the window shutters on the balcony doors, I had arrived in heaven. A most beautiful view. The hotel staff were very helpful and spoken good English. The hotel offered a great variety for breakfast in a bright, airy, luxurious room. The hotel has lots of space for sitting and relaxing both inside and outside. The pool is a good size. No need to bring pool towels as the hotel provides them. The hotel is very well placed for Sorrento town and catching trains and buses to various sights. I would definitely return to this hotel.

Cons: I can't think of anything!
Location: Location very central for railway station, buses and port. Loads of bars and restaurants nearby. The hotel was very close to the square and shops.

Grand Hotel Royal

Posted Jun 20, 2015
Pros: Terrace view of harbour, bay of Naples and Mount Vesuvius.
Cons: Room and corridors floors are made up from ceramic tiles which are decorative but can generate some noise.
Location: Excellent location, within easy walking distance to Sorrento town centre and main bus/coach/train terminals. Pompeii and Herclanuim short train trip.
A very pleasent stay at this excellent hotel. Hotel benefits from a great location (overlooking the bay of Naples and within easy walking distance of Sorrento main centre) quality furnishings and attentive staff. We have stayed at this hotel several times and can highly recommend it.

Almost perfect

Everything about this hotel is wonderful except the food at dinner! This isn't a huge deal because there are many lovely places to eat within a couple of minutes walk. Rooms are wonderful as are the staff who can't do enough to give you a lovely relaxing time. Will definitely go back!
