Good stay in Sorrento
The hotel's location is easily accessible from the train station and Sorrento's centre. Modern furnishings and a good breakfast made our stay enjoyable. Highly recommended hotel.

Great stay. Really convenient location, v close to train station so easy to jump on trains / buses to go exploring. Easy walk into Sorrento. Staff friendly and helpful, decent breakfast.

Hotel Capri was fantastic. We loved the hotel and location. The hotel had a very nice but small pool. The breakfast was included in the price and was very good. I would like to Say Thank you to Nissal he was very friendly and served us with a smile everyday. I would return to this hotel. Great location to walk Sorrento. Also close to Ferries to visit Amalfi, Positano, Capri.

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful renovated hotel in the heart of Sorrento, great location easy to walk to all the main sites and train station. Rooms were nice, new and clean; staff were lovely and always helpful; from Teresa & Emelia at the front desk to Viviana & Guiseppe during our breakfast service. Breakfast offered in the hotel was great, a good mix of sweet and savoury. Would definitely recommend this hotel in Sorrento.

Staff are very nice. Breakfast is mediocre. Could be better. The hotel looks nice, however the condition is not great. Our toilet leaks water. The AC is very cold and it is hard to adjust the temperature. We turned it off and it just turned on by itself. Bedding is very thin so it is ver cold at night. The floor in the room is vinyl with a tile appearance.

A wonderful hotel very close to Piazzo Tasso - 5 minute walk. Room was nicely decorated and clean. Nice pool. Beautiful and quiet garden area with outdoor seating (and lime trees). Breakfast - included - was delicious (eggs, Italian bacon, omelette and pancake station, cappuccino). Front desk staff was friendly and accommodating. Would stay here again and recommend.

Fantastic hotel
Fantastic and romantic trip with my wife on ours 15th wedding aniversarry. Great hotel, very clean and great situated. Beautiful and quiet place where is swimming pool. When hotel received information that we have our aniversarry, they've made surprise for us and there was bottle of Prosecco in our room with greetings. Overall fantastic hotel and fantastic trip.

We stayed at the Capri to save some money at the end of our trip. The hotel is close to the trains, buses, and downtown. The internet worked intermittently and we had to use our data plan up. Breakfast was good and the rooms were clean. The showers are very old school and need an upgrade. Water pressure was minimal but they worked.

The lift was out or order for the entire stay. No offer to assist with luggage up the stairs. The hotel needs to be painted and looks in very poor condition from the outside. Inside the furnishings are nice but worn and needing a paint refresh.

The staff was super helpful and friendly, they helped us with reservations, tips and had a great surprise for our anniversary. The hotel design is gorgeous, the colora and furniture are based on the nearby island of Capri. The location is great, walking distance from the train station, marina, and shopping piazzas. The breakfast is included and the best breakfast I had get from a hotel. They offer fresh fruit, bread, juice, coffee. Eggs, ham and cheese selection. A wide selection of biscotti and desserts. The room and bathroom were beaufiful and spacious. The shower even has a massage setting! The surprise they got for us was a terrace which has a nice view of the surroundings, pool and lemon fields. Absolutely recommend and will stay when I come back to Sorrento.

Location, design, and atmosphere is good, but AC wasn't cold i couldn't sleep. There was Sewerage smell in my room and they didn't do anything about it. Was hoping for a new room but they said "what can we do.."

Great stay in Sorrento. Walking distance from the city center and all of the shops and restaurants. Room was great for the price and air conditions worked great (which can be hard to come by). Great pool and breakfast served each morning. Good value for the price. Only complaint is that the shower is a little small, other than that a perfect stay.

Very clean, hand sanitizer available throughout hotel. Nice pool and deck area. 10 minute walk to city center, close to bus station. Staff friendly. Room had fridge and kettle. We had room facing the garden so was quiet at night. Didn’t even hear fireworks.

The hotel has great location, very close to the station and nearby the central street. The breakfast has a lot of variety and choices. The decoration in the main entrance is well chosen. The only disadvantage was that our room was facing the street and it was loud. Additionally, the shower was stuck which was repaired after we pointed it out. However, the toilet canalisation was not fixed which created discomfort for the guests. Overall, good experience however I wish our requests were better attended.

The room was big and clean. Wifi was strong and they even have some English channels. Breakfast was good with wide spread of varieties. Staff were friendly but not warm and welcoming. Our room was facing a church and the church bells charmed loudly several times from 7am to 8.30am which woke us up. There were loud chattering from the church goers which makes it impossible to sleep in. To stay in this hotel, please ask for a room that is NOT facing the church or the main road.

Nice hotel, central to everything
The hotel was on the main downtown street and at first glance I was concerned about the traffic and noise. I was pleasantly surprised after my first night in that I didn't hear any noise or feel crowded at all. The hotel was close to everything and we walked everywhere. Restaurants, shopping, train station....everything was close and convenient. The hotel was clean and inviting. Our room had a balcony overlooking the pool which was great for morning coffee or evening relaxation. Breakfast each morning was plentiful with traditional items and the staff were fantastic. I'd definitely stay at Hotel Capri again and cannot wait to return to Sorrento.

Disappointing service!
Very unfriendly check in! My husband was returning the rental car and we had so many bags I asked if they had a cart, was told no and was given a hand to the lift but then left on my own to get all our stuff to the room. The next morning I saw the cart in reception! Our soap dish was never cleaned and they didn't give us new soap, shampoo etc. On day 3 I intercepted the cleaning lady and took soap shampoo etc. The man in the breakfast room scolded me for asking if they had honey! Breakfast is beneath par, juices are about to go off, the fruit is awful, no bowls at the fruit and yoghurt stand (I was also scolded for asking where they were), the lemon olive oil was empty for 3 days before being replaced! Pepper was a few corns with no grinder! We asked to have our a/c turned up but it never was, remained at 21 degrees, heard other guests complain about it being cold. Towels were not replaced daily!! Overall bad customer service and bad food, would not return!

Staff are rude and unhelpful. Having stayed in Sorrento a few times now, there are much better hotels out there for a more reasonable price and which deserves the money. So disappointed with Hotel Capri and their complete lack of sympathy or helpfulness when we had a problem. Don't waste your money.

Excellent location
This hotel is in the perfect location especially if you want to make Sorrento your base for doing a lot of day trips. We stayed here for four nights and each day visited a different place (Amalfi city, Capri island, Pompeii). The train station is literally a two minute walk from the hotel, also the port (where you take boats to reach other destinations) is a three minute walk. The Hotel is located directly on the main street in Sorrento which makes it very convenient to find everything you will need: many restaurants, the most charming shopping area, pharmacy, souvenir shops, etc. The only downside is that the shower in the room was extremely small and made it very difficult to shower. Some of the benefits is that even though we had a basic room it had a large king-size bed even though the front desk called it a double. The breakfast that is included with our stay was wonderful. European breakfasts are usually continental this was not it had everything you could want for breakfast and very good quality too.
