Great location

Posted Sep 27, 2014
Pros: Breakfast buffet, location, staff.
Cons: Refrigeration in room
Location: Close to restaurants and local attractions. Easy to get to buses, trains and boats for nearby excursions.
Clean, very nice breakfast buffet included, close to buses, trains and boats to nearby attractions. Walking distance to many sites and restaurants. Noisy due to heavy traffic and pedestrians but definitely worth staying here.

Brilliant

Pros: Location. Family staff who knew the names of their guests. Breakfast on the roof terrace, very relaxed a perfect way to start the day.
Cons: Lighting in the bedroom.
Location: Perfect right in the centre of Sorrento. Easy access via lift to port for Capri, Amalfi and boat trips etc. Road train tour round Sorrento, Pompeii, V
Quirky, friendly, clean, fabulous family staff so helpful to please. So nice not to stay in a chain hotel group.

Great stay excellent staff

Posted Aug 31, 2014
Pros: Without doubt the best thing about this hotel is the outstanding staff. This is followed by the great location.
Location: There is plenty to do In Sorrento. A trip to Pompeii is a must, the ferry ride to Positano is great. Just wandering around Sorrento is fun.
We found the overall experience of staying at this hotel wonderful. It's in a fantastic location close to shops, food and swimming. All the hotel staff are exceptional, very eager to please and always very helpful. They made the overall stay excellent. The room was comfortable and surprisingly quiet from street noise. We had no problem with the wifi working in our room which was down stairs. I would definitely stay here again, great value for money.

Good hotel, great location, lovely staff.

Posted Aug 1, 2014
The location of the hotel is great, near the centre and transport links. The staff are lovely and very helpful about where to go and how too get there. First impression of our room was reserved as we did not have a window but there was a lovely terrace just outside the room which more than made up for it. Would definitely love to stay again!

Convenient and such a nice stay

Posted Jul 31, 2014
Pros: We liked everything about this hotel
Location: We stayed in Sorrento one night after Amalfi to allow a visit to Sant'Agata Sui du Golfi. However, we loved the town and vibe, as much as Amalfi.
Walked from train to hotel easily, nice terrace looking down on all activity on a Main Street of Sorrento. Gracious staff, pride in their hotel and what they do, generous with advice and suggestions to tourists, nice breakfast. I have seen other travelers mention noise; our room was not directly on street, but one room back and for us, it seemed nice and quiet.

Great Location but very noisy

Posted Jul 18, 2014
Pros: The location is very central. Staff very friendly.
Cons: Very noisy. Not sure how this could be improved as it goes hand in hand with such a central location.
Location: Right in the busy centre. Amongst all the shops and a stones throw from the old town for good restaurants and more shopping. 10 mins to train.
We had a great stay at Hotel Del Curso. The staff were very welcoming and freindly. Room was old and quaint. Very clean with good aircon. Lovely terrace for breakfast and a roof terrace on top too. The only problem was the noise. A very noisy hotel, both from the other rooms and the street. We needed to buy earplugs. If you don't mind the noise, then its great.
