Excellent hotel in quiet area close to centrePosted Apr 29, 2015
Location: Good train service to Naples, Pompeii and Herculaneum. Bus along Amalfi coast well worth the money and a visit to Ravello was a worthwhile excursion.
Stunning view across Bay of Naples to Vesuvius was the backdrop for a very pleasant stay in this four star hotel. Nothing was too much trouble for the management and staff, and their service and manner towards their guests was both consistent and refreshing. The breakfasts were a very pleasant experience with a well stocked buffet which included freshly made delicacies. The pool area was located in a quiet garden with poolside waiter service and provided a quiet oasis from the hustle and bustle of Sorrento centre. I thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to stay in Sorrento.

Great HotelPosted Apr 29, 2015
Cons: It would be nice if the beds were softer.
This is a beautiful hotel in a great location. It is within easy walking distance to most everything in Sorrento. The breakfast was very good and the staff are both hospitable and very gracious as well as helpful. I would definitely without hesitation stay here again.

Excellent hotel with central locationPosted Apr 28, 2015
Pros: The hotel staff were polite and helpful from the beginning to the end of our stay. Rooms were clean and the beds the most comfortable I have had in a
Cons: The only down side for us was the lack of tea or coffee making facilities in the rooms
Location: The location was brilliant only a few minutes walk from the main square and the old quarter shops and restaurants and both harbours
The Regina is 10 minutes from the centre of Sorrento and the same distance from both harbours The views from the restaurant are lovely and the food was great with a wide variety which changed each day for breakfast I will loved Sorrento and would stop at the Regina again.

Sehr gutes Hotel, strategisch gut gelegen.Posted Apr 27, 2015
Pros: Ruhige Lage.

We loved this charming hotel and staff.Posted Apr 27, 2015
Pros: See above.
Cons: We would have liked a kettle in the room.
Location: Great choices of places to eat in drink nearby. Plenty of shopping to suit all. Good location to visit Pompeii, Vesuvius, Capri, and the like.
The staff were friendly and approachable. The room was lovely, albeit the bed was very firm, but maybe that was a good thing. The whole place was spotless and well kept. Loved the location, quiet, but near enough the town centre. The view from the breakfast room was stunning, as was the view from the roof top bar, where my husband and I enjoyed cocktails. Breakfast was enjoyable, and beautifully presented, and set us up for the day. We would have liked a kettle in our room, but that was a minor thing. All in all we would highly recommend, and would love to return in the future.

Quiet Retreat in Historic Central SorrentoPosted Apr 26, 2015
Pros: Hotel - small, stylish, well equipped. Room - clean, comfortable, quiet. Fantastic breakfast served on rooftop terrace. Pleasant pool/garden area.
Location: Explore historic Sorrento, visit Marina Grande for waterfront drinks/dining, day-trip to Capri (by boat), visit Pompeii (by train), hike Mt Vesuvius
We found Regina to be the perfect location for our 5-day visit to Sorrento. The hotel is situated in a quiet, yet central area, close to historic shopping district, ferry, train and bus terminals, and has a panoramic view of Naples and Vesuvius.

clean and friendly staff.Bad food..Posted Apr 25, 2015
Good hotel, excellent service. Excellent location next to the marina which is by far the best place in Sorrento. On arrival car parked and bags taken us and placed in room by friendly staff. The view is amazing, 180 view looking out to the islands.. Breakfast was of a one star standard, stale bread, tasteless eggs, cakes from a supermarket and awful coffee. Stay here but eat out...

Well located hotel. Great staff. Fantastic viewsPosted Apr 1, 2015
Pros: Friendly and helpful staff. Great location. Great views. Good patio/pool area
Cons: Breakfast buffet
Location: Regina is less than 1 km from the old town centre and the same distance from the old fisherman's village
Regina is less than 1 km from the old town centre (where there is a good restaurant Refood) and the same distance from the old fisherman's village (where there is a superb restaurant Bagio Delfino) Its easy to walk to the train/bus station (for Positano, Pompeii and the airport) and to the the lift down to sea level (for the Capri ferries) Breakfast room has fantastic views over the Bay of Naples. The buffet is a bit unusual - one of everything you could eat for breakfast but probably dont. Our room was on the back but was nice and big, well furnished, clean and comfortable. Staff could not have been more helpful - advised on and booked restaurants. Told us where and when to go to get trains buses and ferries We were there for 4 nights and had a great time - albeit good sunny weather helped with that
