“Favorite place to visit”

Beautiful hotel with breath taking views of The Bay of Naples. The staff is so helpful and friendly. Wonderful people!! This is a great place to base yourself to travel to Capri and Amalfi. It's a short walk to the city center.

“Hotel Residence Miramare in Sorrento”

The view from our room was spectacular! It was spacious with a kitchenette but the room was lacking decor and that could be so easily fixed by doing some murals on the walls. Very nice bathroom although we're used to fluffy terry cloth towels--these were like kitchen towels. The beds were very small single beds but we got used to them quickly. Continental breakfast was plenty with croissant, rolls, jellies, 2 kinds of cereal, yogurt, juice and very good coffee. All in all, not fancy but I'd go back if only for the view especially if you're only sleeping there after full days of sightseeing--staff was very helpful, and internet available in the lobby.

“Beautiful, smaller hotel”

Very nice, smaller hotel. Very beautiful views and good amenities. The only draw back for some would be the distance you have to walk to get to Sorrento, and how dangerous of a walk it is down a windy mountain with cars and vespas whizzing by! But all in all, I would definitely stay here again and recommend it.

“Air conditioning broke”

We paid for a triple room and was given a small double room at check in. The second day I asked for a triple room as that is what we had reserved and paid for. We were then given a triple room. I felt they should have given us a triple room instead of trying to slip us a double when only two people showed up. The air conditioning did not work. The room was advertised as having air conditioning. The evenings were warm and we had to leave the window open which lets in alot of street noise and makes sleeping difficult. The staff at the front dest were helpful with recommendations for activitiies.
