“To Sisters in Sorrento”

My sister and I stayed at the Hotel Savoia in Sorrento for three days....it was wonderful. The owners were helpful, the breakfast was delicious and the location was great, just 3 blocks from Piazza Tasso, the main square. We enjoyed our room with a balcony and would definitely stay here again.

“"Excellent value for the money"”

This was the second time we have stayed here, and the breakfasts have got even better. The lady proprietor is pleasent and efficient, though the internet connections are a bit of a trial... not being available in our room which was in a newer apartment building. We did get internet connections in the hotel, however, so it wasn't much of a hardship.

“Affordable and comfortable hotel in Sorrento”

It's only a 5 minute walk (10 with luggage) from the main strip in Sorrento. So you can easily get to the town and do all the touristy things, enjoy dinner, etc... without the late night noise, hubbub and crowding. The staff was gracious, friendly and extremely helpful. Their restaurant recommendations were spot-on. Some local restaurants that are out of the way will provide shuttle service to/from the hotel. The owner was able to provide us with detailed directions and instructions on where/how to catch trains/buses, to change money (including travelers cheques, etc... The AC was functional but often we were able to enjoy the night air and keep the balcony door open. Never ran out of hot water and breakfast was very good. One comment about noise. The hotel is a combination hotel/b&b and residential apartment building. Some of the local residents did tend to adhere to the local tradition of staying up very late and talking rather loudly.

“Mediocre stay in Sorrento”

Hotel was ok, with convenient location. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was very small. I booked a double room but was told that only a single room was available. The room had a twin bed with a very uncomfortable mattress. Room was very clean. Hotel smelled strongly of smoke, although I had a "no smoking" room. Lots of stairs and one very old and very small elevator. Breakfast was nice.
