Pros: The stunning views everywhere I looked.
Cons: Better lighting in the bedrooms, more choice of breakfast cereal, coffee from the bar at breakfast time.
Location: On the Via Nastro Verde, you take the Sita bus that stops outside the hotel, one way takes you to the town centre, the other way to Amalfi.

Beautiful views over the Bay of NaplesPosted Nov 9, 2013
Pros: Location, views and friendly staff.
Cons: Probably needs a bit of decorating, update the bedding and have a few snack meals available.
Location: Location on the hills above Sorrento, stunning views of the Bay of Naples, Sorrento, Vesuvius and surrounding Hills.Herculaneum, Pompei, Amalfi Coast,
Friendly, family run Hotel, located above Sorrento with great views over the Bay of Naples. Ensure you book a room with a Sea view and balcony. Staff very helpful and attentive without being over whelming. Note that they do not have a restaurant of their own, but are very good at getting a free car service to pick up and return you from a variety of excellent local restaurants. They made our stay very easy. there is a pool, and a bar for drinks, hot and cold. They do a good Italian breakfast buffet. Good place to stay if you want to visit Sorrento, Amalfi Coast, Sorrentine penninsula, , Pompei, Herculaneum and Vesuvius and surrounding area. Good value for money.

Great view of the sea or a rather bland gardenPosted Oct 26, 2013
Pros: Views were great and room reasonably priced.
Cons: Transportation to/from the hotel can't be relied on and makes you nervous about staying out too late.
Location: Quiet spot up on the hills. No shops/restaurants within walking distance.
A small family run hotel with approx 30 rooms. Staff are generally friendly and helpful. Communal areas include a small reception area, a terrace with a great view of the sea & the town of Sorrento and another small shaded area at the front. You either get a room with a view of the sea or a rather lacklustre view of what they refer to as a garden. Strictly half board only although you can order snacks in the evening for 7E. Alcohol selection also available from a small menu. They also hold 3 evening menus from local restaurants which if you fancy, they will call to have you picked up & dropped back at the hotel at no charge. The food wasn't great at 25-30E/person so would recommend that you dine in town. Hotel serves a modest cold breakfast which I found to be OK. Ok so the room was basic but it was cheap so I was more than happy. They provide sachets of shampoo, soap, toilet roll and that's it! No tissues, razor, ... or any coffee/tea making facilities. Avoid using taxis from Sorrento to the hotel. They charge 30E. Use the SITA bus which runs every hour or so IN THEORY for 2.50E! But they rarely run to schedule. I experienced 2 scheduled runs never turn up and ended waiting 2-3 hrs. The hotel can also call a taxi for you at half the cost so note their number down before setting off. You can catch the SITA bus to Sorrento or Amalfi coast just outside the hotel which was handy. The bus service was really the only let down.

5 day stay in OctoberPosted Oct 26, 2013
Pros: Sea Views, staff very freindly. Clean. Quiet. A very good folder in the room showing all the attractions, directions, maps etc. Brilliant idea.
Cons: Improve the 'bar' area and extend outside to overlook the bay.
Fantastic views over the bay and worth paying the extra for the sea view. Rooms clean but basic. Bathroom very small. Few facilities, although breakfast was quite good. Disappointed there was no restaurant. We had a car but without one, it would be difficult to get about. Overall though, would stay there again.

Friendly, family-run hotel with fantastic viewsPosted Oct 19, 2013
Location: There is a bus stop right outside the hotel and this route takes you to Positano (45 minutes) and other lovely towns on the Amalfi Coast.
I stayed here with my sister the first week of October 2013. Despite the unusually early rain, there were many sunny afternoons and it was a fantastic place to watch the nightly thunderstorms from. The hotel is a twenty minute bus journey from the centre of Sorrento. Buses are regular and drop you right outside the hotel, which offers fantastic views across the bay and towards Mount Vesuvius. The owners and staff are very friendly and were always available to offer advice for local trips. The rooms are comfortable and the breakfasts were lovely. There is no restaurant but the small snack bar provides really nice food and the owners can advise on local restaurants with included transport. If you don't want to stay in the city, I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Amazing ViewsPosted Sep 29, 2013
Very nice traditional Italian hotel, with wonderful views across Sorrento & beyond. Basic but traditional accommodation. Local buses are required to reach Sorrento town which can be an hour apart, by choosing this hotel you are opting for amazing views & a relaxing environment rather than being centrally located in Sorrento. We preferred this set up rather than being in central Sorrento which was far too touristy. Our favourite spot in Sorrento was the Fishing Harbour `Marina Grande` which still offered real Italian charm & character.

Real ItalyPosted Sep 28, 2013
We spent 6 fantastic nights at this hotel. We could not fault any aspect of the service provided. The family run hotel is welcoming and provides all the requirements for all travellers. It is a fair way out of Sorrento town but serviced by the local buses it is only a 15 minute trip in. Breakfast was ample and fresh and in house meals are good if a little limited in choice. Three local restaurants provided courtesy cars to eat out at their restaurants. Rooms are clean and spacious with some having incredible views across the Bay of Naples.. Giovanni is a superb host ably supported by other family members. Nothing is too much trouble for them. A fantastic break which was enhanced by the surroundings and people.

Excellent Friendly HotelPosted Sep 12, 2013
Pros: Staff, service and view
Cons: Some Heating in the Swimming pool, I am a qualified scuba diver and I have never been in anything so cold.
Location: We used the bus and train services which are very cheap, and we went to Pompeii and Herculaneum which was within walking distance from the stations.
Upon our arrival we were greeted with a smile, the staff could not do enough. It was approx 7km out of the centre of Sorrento on a busy road, as we like waking the location was not perfect, but maybe that is why it is priced very reasonable. The Bus service into the centre of Sorrento is very good and reasonably priced. The views are what sold the Hotel to us and they are truly magnificent.

Above Sorrento....a beautiful viewPosted Sep 3, 2013
Pros: The pool refreshing after long hot days and the view was breathtaking.
Cons: Rooms could be updated.
Location: Sant Agata was within walking distance on path. Quaint town with shops and one of the best restaurants in the area. Pompeii just a short train ride.
We had a wonderful time at Hotel Fiorita. The staff was very helpful with bus schedules and tickets available at their desk. They were helpful providing courtesy car rides to local, recommended restaurants.

A great hotel for families or couples.Posted Aug 15, 2013
Pros: Breakfast, helpfulness of all staff, the pool and the general atmosphere.
Cons: Comfort of beds in rooms (quite hard), and sunbeds quite hard too!
Location: Very remote, up the hill, but lovely, absolutely beatiful views and a short bus ride (2.50) into sorrento. Regular busses and easy to get.
An amazing experience, right up on the mountanous hills going out of Sorrento, towards Potistano. A great little hotel, with a shared pool, clean and well managed, with pool side bar. Very helpful staff with details of everything you could want, sight seeing, buses, taxis, food etc. A short walk to the nearest buzzing little Italian town San Agata - a true reflection of Italian life style. There is a supermarket and eating places here. Overall a fantastic hotel. Breakfast is excellent and bar open all day and very cheap indeed. Highly recommended.
