Nice hotel

Great place to get out of the hustle of town with great view overlooking the bay of naples. Super nice staff and comfortable clean rooms. Free parking and wifi and breakfast. Would stay here again.

Charming and cozy hotel

Pros: Homely atmosphere
Charming and cozy hotel. Only minutes away from Sorrento, with free shuttle buses service. The hotel manager is charming and pleasant and gives a homely atmosphere. The rooms are cozy and spacious and breakfast delicious and varied.

Fantastic stay accompanied by great service!

Johanna Park Hotel is a hidden gem in Sorrento. On top of a hill, the hotel offers great views of the Amalfi Coast. Don't worry if you do not have a view of the water from your room, there is a lovely patio on the rooftop from which you can enjoy it. The staff at Johanna Park treated us like part of the family, offering a complimentary shuttle service to the city centre (about a five minute drive away). Although we arrived late to our complimentary breakfast during our stay, Johanna went out of her way to cook us some lovely omelettes. While the free wifi was a tad slow, the excellent customer service, hotel condition, and extraordinary views more than made up for it.

The owner, Johanna, couldn't have been more helpful and cheerful. The hotel is high on a hill above Sorrento (which is good because it is very noisy right downtown) and they provide a free shuttle into town. The waiter, Guiseppe, was very courteous, friendly and still professional (a Robert De Niro look alike) and made us feel right at home. Sorrento is a great location for travel to Capri (the hotel arranged a tour with a shuttle pickup), as well as Positano, Amalfi, and Ravello. We took the shuttle and walked to the bus station for these cities....$7 euro for an all day ticket on the Siti bus!!! Would definitely go back.

Very friendly and helpful staff.

Location: Easy to walk into town but also free shuttle bus service
The staff could not do more to be more helpful or friendly. The owner , Johanna, organised a tour for me and arranged a much cheaper taxi to the airport at the end of my stay.

Love this family owned and operated hotel!

Lovely small, family owned hotel in Sorrento. Johanna and her family operates everything and will work with you (extra shuttles to the city center, etc) to make your stay pleasant. They'll make your cappuccino and espresso for you in the morning (not just a machine made drink)for no extra charge, dinner at their restaurant was very good. Will stay again next time!

Nice hotel that offered wonderful food

Posted Sep 28, 2014
Pros: The location
Cons: Updating the rooms with more comfortable beds, more electrical outlets and overall appearance.
Location: Going to Capri and Almafi coast are great things to do in the area!!
The accommodations were nice but seemed a bit dated (i.e., only one outlet to plug in cell phones, Kindles, etc.). Overall the staff was friendly and made every effort to accommodate our requests.

Shuttle to Sorrento

Posted Sep 27, 2014 on Hotels.com
A wonderful hotel, close to Sorrento with shuttle service into town. A great restaurant that we used each evening. Guisseppe and Nelo were very helpful with drives to town and dinner service. A very friendly staff, always helpful, nice views from balcony. Great food and plentiful breakfast. Beds in Italy hotels in general are very hard.

Great location

Posted Sep 24, 2014
Pros: The staff and location - both were excellent
Cons: Comfort of the beds and pillows, both very hard
Location: Sorrento - need I say more! fabulous place. Very good restaurant just up the hill, hotel organised us an excellent tour of Capri
Staff were extremely good, location is fabulous with superb views, food is good. The only disappointing aspect of this hotel is that the bed and pillows we had were very uncomfortable and hard making it difficult to sleep well. That apart, the hotel was truly very, very good. Shuttle bus worked well with convenient timings.

Room Not In Main Hotel

Posted Sep 17, 2014
Pros: View was okay.
Cons: The advertising of rooms that are not in the hotel should be much more prominent. I would have booked elsewhere had I known this.
Upon arrival at approx. 9pm we were shown to our room which was located a short walk from the main hotel. The walls of the building were thin and the room was not really comparable to that on the website. Due to the location of the room, there was no wifi (despite advertising as such) and walking back and forward to the main building was inconvenient, particularly with bags.
