“Great base for seeing the area”
This was a great place. Conveniently located and a great staff. Only about two blocks from the train station and lots of terrific shops and restaurants in the area. You can walk to the train station and pick up a bus to the Amalfi coast or take the train into Pompeii or Naples. Great value also.
“Review of Hotel Abagnale”
Other than the stairs the room was excellent. Very large with a sitting area, large bed, very large bathroom and a kitchen area. There was a balcony out on the main street that was nice for people watching. They told use breakfast was from 8-10 but when we got there at 8:45 most of the food was gone and they were closing up. After that we went earlier and everything was fine. Hotel was close to training station which was a big plus. We used Sorrento more as a base for visiting the area.
“Ready to Return”
My 16 year old and I chose this hotel because it is in the heart of Sorrento.... reminded me of being on Bourbon Street during Mardi Gras...yes, it was noisy at times (World Soccer Matches) but we loved being where the action was. It was conveniently located near great restaurants, shopping, train station, marina. We felt completely safe even though the apartment entry was dark. It was an enormous room with great air conditioning, kitchenette, dishes....very clean. My favorte place we stayed in all of Italy.
“Wonderful Hotel”
This was a fantastic hotel. Really modern decor and the young lady at the check in desk was fantastic. My only regret is that I don't remember her name so that I could specify which one I mean. But anyway this hotel was the best one we stayed in, in all of Italy. Thanks.
“Can't Understand the Positive Reviews”
We booked this hotel for the week of February 16-21. I had read the reviews and thought it would be the perfect place for our travel(s) in the south of Italy. While the location, proximity to rail, bus and other was perfect the service offered by the hotel itself was less than stellar. Upon our arrival we were told our room was taken (the previous guests were staying an additional night) and we would have to take a less-than room. And, it was less-than what we booked. We proceeded to what was an oversized utility room with two small beds pushed together in a corner of a very small room, up against the walls (top and side) and there was this overhang over the one bed (the stairwell) protuding into the space. There was no room for two people to stand and dress/undress in the space and you could hear the other guests behind the door. We asked for compensation/reimbursement and were told NO. The glowing and rather lovely reviews of staff leave me puzzled as they were not kind to us during our visit, not the least bit helpful and basically treated us unkindly as we had asked for compensation for the room given us on the first night.

Perfect place to enjoy wonderful Sorrento which is a great base for visiting Pompeii and the Amalfi coast.
“Sorrento's BEST Hotel!”
I can not say enough WONDERFUL things about this hotel!!!!! It was such a breath of fresh air after staying in some shady hotels throughout the rest of Italy. The decor was ultra modern and chic, incredibly clean, and the staff was so friendly and helpful! I definitely plan on returning to Sorrento and would not stay anywhere else. I HIGHLY recommend this hotel!!
“Take me back to Sorrento!”
My friend and I stayed at this charming guest house in the heart of Sorrento for five days in October. The location is superb, and although it's located on the main thoroughfare of Sorrento, our room was in the back and blessedly quiet. The decor of the entire hotel is quite modern and hip, although I think they overdid it a bit with the acrylic furnishings and accents. The bathroom was surprisingly large, but the corner shower stall could be bigger, and the sink area could have used some shelves or more counter space. Overall, this was a great place to stay, and I only wish we could have stayed longer!
