Gorgeous hotel, perfect central locationPosted Jun 24, 2014
We stayed at palazzo marziale for 3 nights and could not fault our stay there the location was perfect particularly for a local bar at which to watch the sun set over the Mediterranean! The breakfast was lovely and attached steak restaurant is definitely worth a visit.

Highly recommended.Posted Sep 24, 2013 on Hotels.com
We stayed for 7 nights on a bed and breakfast basis although there is a restaurant which is very popular for wedding receptions. It is an old palace with large and very comfortable rooms. It is right in the heart of Sorrento within a quarter of a minute walk to a panoramic view over the Bay of Naples, three minutes walk from the central square (Piazza Tasso) and ten minutes walk from the station from where you can get the train to Pompei, Herculaneum and Naples, and the bus service to Positano and Amalfi. The Italian style breakfast is taken in the bar area on the ground floor with a plentiful supply of sweet and savoury options, The owner, Paula, made us very welcome and we saw her every day. There is a plentiful supply of restaurants in the vicinity if you don;t want to use the high class Pallazzo's restaurant every day.

Paola our host was the most gracious and helpful person you could possibly meet. She was incredibly helpful and always had a smile for everyone.

Nice, Charming B & B!!Posted Mar 26, 2010
Very good hotel experience. While we didn't see the owners except for when we checked in they were very pleasant and it was a nice B&B. The pictures are very accurate, (we had the Green Room that's in one of the pics.) Close to the water if you want to take a walk and also close to shopping, restaurants, etc. About the only bad thing about the Palazzo Marziale was that the tv didn't work (but who goes there to watch tv anyway) and the wood floor in the room could have been swept before check in but it wasn't too bad. The continental breakfast was good, fresh and ready on time. Plus it was re-filled between guests so you didn't have to worry about not getting enough to ear. Would I stay there again - Yes!
