Pleasant Stay

Posted Jul 28, 2014
Pros: Cleanliness, professionalism, location, free wi-fi and service
Cons: Excellent with us
Location: Great restaurants, museum, 10 min walk from the beach
From the moment we walked in we were treated as guest, Valentina was there to help with luggage, answer question and just a pleasant person to encounter on entering this hotel. Valentina and Elena were helpful in suggesting great places to eat, arranging a tour for us, also arranging a Taxi to our next destination. breakfast was great and unfortunately I can not remember the gals name was great, nothing was too much trouble for her. Just a great place to stay.

Fantastic hotel with amazing staff!

Posted Jul 4, 2014
We booked our hotel online and didn't know what to expect, but were pleasantly surprised at the location, cleanliness and newness of Palazzo Tasso. The staff was amazing - very friendly with excellent tour and restaurant recommendations (try the restaurant directly across the alleyway - amazing food with great prices). I would highly recommend anyone staying in Sorrento to stay at this hotel. Breakfast was also included and had a wide variety of items to choose from. Great overall experience!

Great location and great staff!

Couldn't ask for a better central location in sorrento! Stones throw away from shopping, dining and the beach. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. They were more than happy to help us organise our excursions to amalfi, Pompeii etc. Valentina and Elena were exceptional !!

SORRENT JUNE 2014

Posted Jun 23, 2014
Pros: IMMACULATE CLEANLINESS - IMMACULATE STAFF BEHAVIOUR AND SERVICE ITS POSITION IS FABULOUS AND NEAR SOME GREAT RESTAURANTS
Cons: IT WOULD BE GOOD IF THE ROOMS WERE A TRIFLE LARGER - BUT THAT CAN'T BE HELPED.
Location: WE HAD A ROOM FACING THE CORSA ITALIA - THE MAIN ROAD THROUGH SORRENTO - BUT ONLY GOT WOKEN ONCE - THE NIGHT ITALY BEAT ENGLAND IN THE WORLD CUP.
AN UNEXPECTED DELIGHT - THE HOTEL WAS COOL HAVEN TO RETURN TO AFTER VERY HOT DAYS. THE AIR-CONDITIONING WAS VERY EFFECTIVE AND EASILY CONTROLLED. THE BALCONY WAS SMALL BUT AN ADDED BONUS TO THE STAY.

Fantastic hotel in the heart of Sorrento

Posted Jun 20, 2014
Pros: The rooms, the staff, the location.
Location: If you are staying in Sorrento, you should certainly take the opportunity of visiting Pompei, Mount Vesuvius and Capri
Palazzo Tasso is a great place to stay if you are thinking of going to Sorrento. Conveniently located near the restaurants, bars and shops in the town and a short distance from the harbour where you can catch a boat to Capri (worth a visit), Amalfi Coast etc. The hotel is certainly one of the best I have stayed in - good size room, nicely decorated (modern), very polite and helpful staff and a good choice of food for breakfast (included in price).

Great hotel extremely central

Posted Jun 14, 2014
Pros: clean, comfortable room, helpful staff, perfect location
This is an incredible place to stay when visiting Sorrento. We only stayed one night but the hotel is a five minute walk from the train/ SITA bus station and right beside the central Piazza Tasso and old Sorrento. Also no more than a ten minute walk from the ferry terminal and only bit further to the old fishing port at Marina Grande. The hotel itself is fantastic, perfectly clean and extremely comfortable. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Breakfast in the morning, while fairly standard was also very good. Highly recommended place to stay.

Perfect hotel when visiting the Amalfi coast.

Posted May 21, 2014
Pros: Central location and helpful staff.
Cons: Tea and coffee making facilities in the room.
Location: Take a public bus to Amalfi. Visit Pompeii and Herculaneum by train. Take a ferry to Capri.
Hotel is right in the centre of Sorrento and only 1 minute from Piazza Tasso. The room was obviously newly refurbished and the bedroom, bathroom and shower were furnished to a high standard. The breakfast was a simple continental breakfast with a range of cereals, cooked meats, hard boiled eggs, cakes, fresh fruit and juice. The room has free Wifi and satellite TV. It would have been nice to have coffee and tea making facilities in the room. The hotel's real selling point is the central location and you are paying a bit extra for this.
