Great!

Posted Apr 8, 2015
Pros: The space of the hotel was great. Breakfast over looking the view was WOW!!
Cons: Not much. I had the best sleep in my 5 days in the amalfi coast at this hotel
Location: Toto pizzeria. the two brother from Miami were very friendly. Very nice place to eat. Great Food. about a 5 min walk from our hotel
This hotel was great. Our room was very large with an additional room for the kids to sleep. Family room they call it. It was about a 15 min walk to the city center, but well worth it as the walk was amazing.

Lovely location at waterside.

The hotel itself is very modern and does not represent the area. Blue and white marble gives a cold appeal to an otherwise welcoming entry drive. Landscaping is well done. Staff is very attentive but one would expect it based on expense. Rooms are very spacious by European standards, especially the bath. The shuttle service provides easy access to train station and local amenities. I would recommend this to high end and convention travelers.

Stunning grounds and views from this hotel

Posted Mar 19, 2015
Pros: The location is superb with breathtaking views and grounds.
Cons: The only thing would be the lighting in the restaurant in the evening, more candles and less strip lighting would be more endearing.
Location: This is an ideal location to explore the Amalfi coast, Pompeii, Herculanuem, Capri, make sure you visit the Blue Grotto.
The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, food at breakfast was excellent, we had dinner one evening in the hotel which was also very good. Our room was exemplary, very spacious with large patio and the most stunning views of Vesuvius and Sorrento. The hotel itself is very blue and designed by a famous architect Gio Ponti in a 60's style and so long as you appreciate this fact, it is all perfectly fine and clean. It is a brisk 20 minute walk into Sorrento but there is a shuttle service if you don't fancy the walk although this does finish quite early in the evening. We hired a car so it didnt matter so much, however take out additional insurance as it is worth it for how the Neapolitans drive and the narrow streets. Beautiful region, well worth the visit and be prepared not to want to leave...

Beautiful !!

Posted Mar 11, 2015
Pros: Everything !
Cons: Information available in rooms ; need a booklet of some kind with local info - facilities, transport ,cafes , restaurants , etc.
Location: Trips to Capri , Pompeii , wonderful cafes & restaurants,amazing scenery.Fantastic shops !
Wonderful hotel.Rooms clean & well appointed, ALL staff & service excellent, all friendly & helpful.Grounds lovely , only disappointment was that pool & sunbathing area were closed (out of season). Restaurant & bar lovely , food & drink perfect. It would have been better if there was more info on offer in the room (re local facilities, trips, transport etc) , rather than having to ask staff about it all. Overall excellent & we would definitely go back.

Lovely spot, nice people, airey and spacious.

Partial seaview rooms are probably better value than the more expensive absolute seaviews. The absolutes have balconeys with "blinkered views" - a bit like looking out of a tunnel - whereas the partial are more open and show some of the dramatic cliff views. Quiet in the winter (summer may be hectic), staff are friendly and helpful. Parking at 15eu/night is ok given the scarcity in Sorrento.

Fantastisk utsikt

Fint hotell men inte 5-stjärnigt - mer 3,5 enligt svenska mått. Utsikten var det bästa och att vi hade en egen balkong.

Not a 5 star hotel at all!!!!

Posted Nov 3, 2014 on Hotels.com
Room very old and not well mantained. Expensive parking lot far away from the entrance and no valet. Breakfast on 2 star hotel standards.Room dors hand painted, forniture and bad very old and not confortable. We booked a room for 4 people and we received towels and amenities for two only!!!
