Tranquil , peaceful setting.Posted Aug 23, 2014 on Hotels.com
Really enjoyed my stay for 3 nights, we were here in august so sorrento was really busy, town was 20 minute walk which was fine for us . Santa Agnello has a number of nice restaurants and hotels, even the local cafe on the corner sold great food, particular favourite was la marinetta cafe by day and very nice Resturant by night not cheap but excellent food, requiring the use of a private elevator, we watched the sun go down in the evening and then went down in the lift, back to the hotel, everything was great, there were 9 rooms we had an attic room for 3 of us which was very spacious and served us well, the hostess could not have been friendlier and lived on the grounds , it really was a sanctuary away from the bustle of sorrento can't recommend it enough, next holidays will be in villas not hotels.

Everything we hoped forPosted Aug 4, 2014
Location: 20 minutes walk to Sorrento, but great restaurant nearby Marinella. Train about 10 minutes. Buses less reliable
We had 2 lovely weeks in this beautiful, tranquil hotel. The gardens, pool, breakfasts and the villa were delightful. Angela the owner is really helpful and really adds to what was a great experience.

Very well looked afterPosted Nov 3, 2013 on Hotels.com
A beautiful hotel with lovely gardens. Very well looked after by our host and her staff. We had the upstairs room with a balcony that you could see the sea from. Very clean room. Bed was a bit firm but this seemed to be quite common during our trip to Italy. Also, some noise from next door room with adjoining bathrooms. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice and great coffee. The car parking on the local streets wasn't too much of a problem for us and the host kindly let us use the hotel driveway overnight on our first and last nights to make things easier. The pool was lovely but a bit too chilly for October!

An oasis of tranquility in a beautiful settingPosted Nov 1, 2013
Pros: It was peaceful and quiet, in a good location, and the hospitality was excellent.
Cons: Hard to think of anything!
Location: Sorrento - shopping and eating out Pompeii, Herculaneum, Oplontis - easily reached by train Vesuvius - dominates the landscape, a visit is a must
As we stepped through the gate into the gardens of Relais Villa Savarese, it was like stepping into a different world, into an oasis of calm where day to day cares can be left far behind. The villa is beautiful and well maintained, and the hospitality is simply superb: warm and friendly with a personal touch, yet unobtrusive. All our needs were taken care of and nothing was too much trouble. For the four days we were there, we were thoroughly spoiled. It was our 20th wedding anniversary, so Angela upgraded our room and provided a complementary bottle of fizz on arrival. Every morning we were greeted by a mouth-watering breakfast buffet, with a different selection of cereals, fresh bread and pastries, cakes, cheese, eggs, cold meats, fruit, yoghurt, and a delicious freshly cooked flan or frittata. This set us up for the day so we didn't need to eat lunch! We were late in the season so several places were shut, but we still found good places to eat in the evening. Just a few minutes walk away is a terrace with stunning views over Sorrento, Vesuvius and the bay of Naples. This was a perfect spot to sit and watch the sunset. The villa is located a 15-20 minute walk from Sorrento, and very close to the public transport network, so getting to Herculaneum, Pompeii and Vesuvius was very straightforward. This was the perfect spot for exploring this lovely part of the world, and we haven't encountered a warmer welcome anywhere else that we have stayed.

Hidden GemPosted Oct 15, 2013 on Hotels.com
The location of the hotel is ideal; removed from the chaos of Sorrento, but close enough to walk to the main piazza. Once inside the gate, the hustle and bustle of the city fades and a tranquil garden surrounds you. Angela, the owner, is extremely friendly and accommodating. She upgraded our room to a very large suite, larger than most Italian hotel rooms. Breakfast was very good with a wide and plentiful selection. We highly recommend Relais and would (make that WILL) definitely stay there again.

Very attractive Boutique HotelPosted Oct 9, 2013
Pros: The hotel was down a quiet road and surrounded by lemon trees. Breakfast was in what had been the family dining room.
Cons: Nothing everything was perfect.
Location: Perfect location near to the town center. People watching in Piazza Tasso is a must.
Although we arrived dampened by the rain ours spirits were lifted when we arrived at Relais Villa Savarese. The owner was delightful and the room exactly as advertised. The surrounding gardens and pool a delight and we did manage a morning by the pool. The owner went out of her way to make us feel at home even offering to take is into town when it was raining.

Stayed here with my daughter 26th September to 29th, wonderful is not enough to describe our stay. The owner is very caring and helpful, she will go out of her way to help. Breakfast is amazing and St Agnello is very safe and everyone is so friendly. Thank you for making our stay a joy will definitely go back. Make sure you take mosquito repellent we didn't but the owner gave us hers to use

ParadisePosted Aug 14, 2013
Pros: Breakfast, surroundings, service, very well managed, thank you Angela. Everything actually.
Location: Set behind large metal gates, 10 minutes walk to a variety of local restaurants, very peaceful, an oasis.
We had a wonderful stay. The villa and grounds are just beautiful and the staff do everything they can to make your stay perfect; a never ending supply of iced water with home grown lemons by the pool, little cooling treats later on. Breakfast was amazing, such a choice of sweet and savoury food, much of it home cooked and served in a cool and beautiful room. Our room was lovely, at the top of the villa with its own terrace; well furnished and very clean and comfortable. If you want peace in paradise - the lemon groves around the pool are lovely - with restaurants within easy walking distance and busy Sorrento a 15 minute walk away, staff who only want you to enjoy your stay, choose Villa Savarese.

Fantastic place to stayPosted May 25, 2013
Pros: The Villa. The Pool. Breakfast room and breakfast. Angela and her staff.
Location: Perfect walk into town following the coast road plenty of places to stop on the way. Local area by sea with wonderful views.
Villa Savarese is the most beautiful of places. Although close to Sorrento and Corso Italia it is a world away and such a peaceful oasis. A few minutes walk towards the sea and there are good retaurants with fantastic views. Relaxing by the pool in the botanical garden with nothing but the birds singing is truly wonderful. We stayed in a classic room overlooking the pool, again beautifully furnished. The breakfast room is gorgeous and the breakfast itself the best we have ever had, home made sweet and savoury and something to suit all tastes. Angela and her staff are the most helpful and friendly people. If you are staying in Sorrento look no further.

Beautiful couples retreat!!Posted Sep 25, 2012
Pros: Brilliant Host, pure luxury!!
Location: 10-15 mins walk from Sorrento (very easy walk!) set back from the road.
This beautiful little boutique hotel was stunning!!! We stayed for a week and enjoyed the buffet breakfast every morning. The host was amazing!! She gave us friendly advise in order to get the most out of our time in Sorrento, such as where to visit, where to eat and most importantly how not to get lost!! Every need we had was catered for free cakes and treats where offered on a daily basis. As we had a very early flight on the day of departure the host arranged breakfast bits to be packed an brought up late the night before we left, which went well beyond the role of any host I've ever come across. If you want a relaxing stay away from the main city centre and you don't mind a 10-15mins walk into Sorrento itself this is the place to stay. It's picturesque and very tranquil and takes you away from the busy town centre.
