An Excellent choice!Posted May 28, 2015
Pros: Very close to the centre of town and all its restaurants and facilities, just a few minutes walk.
Cons: Not really! There was one receptionist who was a bit rude but generally the staff were friendly and helpful No decent English TV!
Location: Very close to bus and railway station with access to all the touristy things. Also close to swimming pontoons and leisure facilities.
This was a good choice for us as it enabled us to relax in the evenings and cook for ourselves if we wanted to. The suite was a good size and well equipped and the kitchen had enough equipment to cook a simple meal. Lovely to have a cup of of tea when we wanted to after a busy day sightseeing.the beds were comfy and good bathroom. The dressing room/ wardrobe area gave more space to circulate. Plenty of storage space. It was on the corner of a street which was busy with traffic at certain times of the day but double glazing blocked all noise out and it was quiet at night. We had 2 balconies and it was the noisiest time of the day usually when we wanted to sit out but we got used to the traffic.

our stay was very comfort but and it is a big but the hotel does not clean your room (this is the problem with a suits hotels). We do not like to take care of hotel's cleaning while we are in vacation.

Excellent place to stay!Posted Sep 23, 2014
Pros: I liked the location, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the rooms were great to come back to after a long day of sightseeing.
Cons: We stayed for five nights and the towels weren't changed in that time which would have been nice.
Location: The location is about a ten minute walk from the train station, and very near the centre of town. It is an excellent base for all attractions nearby.
Rota Suites are excellent if you want self catering accommodation near the centre of Sorrento. The rooms are clean, airy and spacious with everything you need. The little kitchen is not really equipped for making big meals as there are only two rings to cook on but who wants to be making big meals when they are on holiday?! We loved our stay here, everything worked perfectly and there is even a laundry room where you can wash, tumble dry and iron clothes.

Flott hotell med hyggelig betjeningPosted Jul 13, 2014 on Hotels

Strange cleaning schedulePosted Jun 6, 2014
Pros: modern and clean
Cons: Staff attitude and cleaning schedule
Rooms great , modern ,well appointed, location good but. Road noise at night was more hand we would have liked. After 1st night room was not cleaned, after 2nd night , cleaning staff said they don't clean on Wednesdays ! Front reception staff on check in clearly were in a rush and on check out day were very stressed and not at all pleasant.

Great place to stay in SorrentoPosted Apr 21, 2014
Pros: The suite was modern and well equipped (with a kitchenette) and there was plenty of room for the four of us.
Location: The location is good, too: the best pizza place in Sorrento (Pizzeria da Franco) is a short walk away, and the station is just a bit further on.
We chose the Rota Suites because as a family with two children we wanted an apartment, not a hotel room, with the option to prepare simple meals, eat breakfast, etc. The suite was modern and well equipped (with a kitchenette) and there was plenty of room for the four of us. The location is good, too: the best pizza place in Sorrento (Pizzeria da Franco) is a short walk away (via the lemon grove) and the Circumvesuviana station is just a little bit further on. This was a great base from which to explore the Bay of Naples, and we'll definitely stay here again on future visits.

Clean, spacious great location.Posted Apr 16, 2014
Cons: Hairdryer in bathroom attached to wall, didn't work well at all.
Location: Great restaurants, Delfino at the Grand Marina was our favourite. Walk to Capo de Sorrento from the Grand Marina, to see Roman Ruins and great views.
We stayed here for a week with our ten year old and was a brilliant experience. We had a one bedroom suite, with two balconies. The rooms looked out onto the street, which was fairly quiet. The rooms were spotless and someone came to clean half way through our stay, changing the bed linen and towels. We ate out mostly but there was enough equipment to self cater easily. It's in a great location, just round the corner from a lovely lemon grove and an amazing viewing point of Vesuvius. We came to Sorrento on the bus from the airport, and found Rota Suites very easily. Highly recommend.

Great optionPosted Oct 15, 2013 on Hotels
I just spent a week at the Rota Suites traveling with friends. We choose Rota Suites are fully furnished apartment with free wifi and on property laundry faculties. The lovely Raffaela is the consierge who as wars all your questions. I had a full one bedroom apartment for myself. It would have slept four comfortably. My friends were traveling with a baby and they had a two bedroom, two bath apartment. Their unit could accommodate six people. The apartments were clean, modern, everything worked, and it was conveniently located to walk and enjoy all the delights of Sorrento. And lastly, it was very easy on the wallet. I'd definitely stay again.

Convenient hotel in central loctionPosted Oct 5, 2013
Our family shared a lovely few days in Sorrento. Rota suites were conveniently located, and made a good base to explore Amalfi coast. We enjoyed a couple of quiet relaxing days at beach platform of Grand Hotel Riviera, sister hotel of Rota.
