Friendly hotel close to Sorrento centre.

Posted Nov 30, 2013
Pros: Very friendly, good location
Cons: Car parking is a paid extra. No sea views available.
Location: Sorrento is a great spot for exploring Pompeii, Herculaneum and the Amalfi coast. The Circumvesuviana railway station is just 15 minutes walk
A very friendly hotel with well appointed rooms, and easy access on foot to Sorrento and it's shops and restaurants. Very good buffet breakfasts. Highly recommended!

Good B and B close to town restaurants

Posted Nov 2, 2013
Pros: Very convenient and comfortable.
Cons: Coffee and juice machines at breakfast not that good.
Location: see above - location good for town and fishing village
Very enjoyable stay. Good base for Pompeii, Herculaneum, Positano and Naples. Easy walk to shops, restaurants, train and bus station. Helpful staff on the desk who speak English. Pool very good but no open in the afternoon or early evening.

Very friendly hotel in Sorrento Old Town

Posted Oct 16, 2013
Pros: The wonderful staff and the central location - it's on a quiet street, yet only a few minutes walk from the lively old town, harbour and station.
Cons: Tea pots in the breakfast room would be nice.
Location: It's close to the old fishing harbour and old town. Pompeii, Herculaneum, Naples Archeological Museum, Amalfi and Capri are all easily reachable.
Nothing was too much trouble for the staff at the Ulisse. Whether it was booking a shuttle bus from and to Naples airport, or arranging a boat trip to Capri, or handing out local train and bus timetables, or opening a jammed suitcase lock, or reprogramming the TV to British channels - every request or problem was handled efficiently and with a smile. Without exception, the staff were brilliant.

Quiet Hostel Close to Main Rd

Posted Sep 9, 2013
Pros: Close to the main street and still quiet at night. Could walk to the train station in about 20 minutes.
Cons: Coverage of the wifi in the rooms, also have the pool area open in August during peak season or at least let people know it is not available on the we
Location: There were plenty of shops and restaurants and various tours available, also walking distance to the beach.
Found the Hostel to be nice and clean, with the reception staff to be quite helpful in recommending tours and places to eat with complimentary pick up and drop off taxi service. The breakfast menu was to be standard and the wifi did not always work in the rooms. I was disappointed the swimming pool area was open during the month of August which was one of the main reasons for selecting this Hostel.

very nice surprise

Posted Sep 2, 2013
Pros: as above its location is perfect for the places I want to go to. The rooms are comfortable and clean, it has car parking. the staff superb.
Cons: The outside of the hotel doesnt live up to the rest but you dont judge a book by the cover.
Location: It is located at the Western side of sorrento with easy pleasant walkingg access to the main parts of the Town and the marvellous Marina Grande
This hotel is supposed to be a hostel but is definitely a hotel in all but name. It is situated only 500 yards from the main Sorrento shopping area and a bit further from the fabulous Marina Grande which is one of the quaintest places I have been to in my life. The hotel staff were were extremely helpful and spoke excellent English. They allowed us some extra time in the car park to enjoy the Marina Grande for the day without extra charge. The breakfast was good the rooms clean and comfortable.

Ok

Posted Aug 18, 2013
Pros: Breakfast was great and location
Cons: Air con in room and pool closure
Location: Very Central
Hotel was in a central location to the main square and attractions. The beach was in walking distance with many restaurant. Staff was friendly and helpful. But air conditioner in the room didn't work very well and we had record high temperature that week. The pool in the hotel was closed for renovation as well that week, an alternate pool in another hotel was available but at a cost... And most days it was full. Naomi

Clean and comfortable in lovely Sorrento.

Posted Jul 24, 2013
Pros: Comfort!
We had a great stay at Ulisse Deluxe even though we had a bit of trouble finding it in our rental car. Found a sweet, older Italian man who hopped on his scooter and guided us to the hotel! Enjoyed all the facilities and the town.
