Ulisse Deluxe Hostel

Ulisse Deluxe Hostel was a very wonderful surprise. From the lobby to the rooms we were very pleased. The front desk personnel were all very helpful. We especially appreciated the special attention we received from Chiara who helped us with finding special locations to visit as well as travel details. One event that stands out is a dinner recommendation made by the front desk personnel. They suggested a restaurant called La Tavernetta which is about 4 kilometers away and they send a car for you to take you there at no charge. The ride down this very narrow road was just the start to a memorable night. The restaurant is located right on the water and the food was both excellent and very reasonably priced. Outstnding seafood dishes.Appetizers, entrees, wine, and cafe for about 45 euro for two people. We enjoyed it so much we went back after returning from Positano. This is a must when in Sorrento

We were given room 210 which was huge! There was only 2 of us but in the room was a double and a single bed, a table and chairs, and a sofa as well as a large TV, safe and fridge. The bathroom had a jacuzzi bath and was also quite big. Not at all what you would expect from a 'hostel'! Breakfast was great, pastries, fruit, cereal, toast, yoghurt and scrambles egg. The location was also perfect for us, close enough to walk to the action but not right in it. We really enjoyed our stay here and would definately recommend it to other travellers.

Although a little difficult to find at first, the Hotel was well situated for getting around Sorrento. Just off the main street it was only a short walk to the square, bus and train terminal. The staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would not hesitate to return, and to recommend to friends.

A good clean and well maintained room with an excellent breakfast. The staff did a fine job, and the hotel's location was close to the busy downtown. The decor was pleasing, and it was a good value considering how expensive everything else in the town is for tourists. There is an excellent public area for reading and relaxing.

I feel we got excellent value for the price. It was well located, spacious, and very clean. The help and information at the front desk was excellent. They gave us great advice and catered to our needs in every way. We would deffinitely go back and definitely recommend it to friends.

Very clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Would have appreciated inclusion of boiled/scrambled eggs in continental breakfast. Ideal as a base for sight seeing.

The hotel is just fine and the staff is very accommodating. I would go back again.
