Exceptional staff & location!Posted Aug 13, 2014
Pros: The location was perfect. We were within walking distance of everything in the city, including the beach. Loved the little balcony in our room.
Cons: Due to an early departure flight, it would have been helpful to have an earlier start time for breakfast. It was too good to rush through!
Location: The tour of the Amalfi coast that they arranged was excellent!! And highly recommended! Capri was also very nice. A must do is the beach restaurant.
The staff was outstanding, and assisted us with tour reservations, driver to the airport, and reservations to the best restaurant on the beach!!

Great Location but Staff really unfriendlyPosted Aug 3, 2014
Pros: Location was perfect! The Hotel was clean!
Cons: Change and training the staff for a better customer service.
Location: Great! Near of everything
The Staff were very unfriendly, special the front desk (blonde woman and brunette woman with a short hair). They made me feel unwelcome and not wanting to go back to this place.

Comfortable and clean hotel, closed to everything.Posted Jul 8, 2014
Pros: Easy to find, right at the main intersection of the town so a lot of restaurants and shops, very convenient to walk around the city.
Location: The location is very convenient, within walking distance to the harbor, train and bus station.
The location of the hotel is walking distance to Train station, ferry to Capri Island and they provide free decent breakfast every morning, you may order take-out pizza and eat at the hotel's lobby next door.

Cons: The internet service in bedrooms.
Location: Very near to bus station, train station, restaurants and shopping streets as well as a quick walk to lovely views over the bay.
Very happy with room, breakfast and service. Altogether a pleasure to come back to every evening. A few problems with the internet connection in room at times.

Pros: Locality, clean rooms with white tiled floors and white linen
Cons: impossible but a garden or terrace for all guests. or a pool
Location: If you are looking for restaurants try Ristorante de Gaetano Vino Vera in the hills behind Sorrento or Ristorante 'O Parrucchiano near the cathedral
small hotel central to the main square, within walking distance of all facilities, station restaurants buses etc. The receptionist was a little brusque but other staff friendly, especially the night receptionist (male). The only drawback was there was nowhere outside to sit, ie pool, terrace or garden. Rooms were lovely but our shower was compact, others were better. Clean towels every day and bedding every couple of days. Breakfast was nice with a selection of fruits, rolls, cereals, croissants and cakes. Fruit juice was limited in selection but abundant in supply. A word of warning, the eggs in the basket are for boiling and are not already boiled!!

Extremely Convenient Location - OK HotelPosted Jun 10, 2014
Pros: Location. Breakfast was good.
Cons: New beds and pillows, they are WAY too hard. Not sure there is much you could do with the bathrooms.
Villa di Sorrento is an extremely well location hotel in Sorrento, adjacent to Piazza Tasso in the centre of town. It's a short walk from the train station, and right outside of the taxi stand. The hotel is nice, the room was clean, modern and well kept, and the breakfast each morning was quite good (except the coffee). The WiFi worked most of the time (though had a tendency to time-out) and the staff was reasonably helpful. Unfortunately, the bed and pillows were extremely uncomfortable. Our room was located immediately above the entrance on Via Fuorimura which was quite noisy and the windows had to be closed at night to sleep. The room was then nice and quiet, but also very warm. The air-conditioning worked, but was only controllable from the front desk. The bathroom was extremely small, with an even smaller shower. Unfortunately I don't think we would stay here again.

close to all must-see sightsPosted May 18, 2014 on Hotels.com
We were pleasantly surprised at how nice the room was. Although the hotel was right in the heart of Sorrento, our room was very quiet with windows overlooking greenery. It was extremely clean. We were a family of 4 and only booked one room...but got an additional room off to the side of ours with two extra beds and an additional television for the same price. We would highly recommend Hotel Di Sorrento.

Perfect location in the town. The staff could not have been more helpful at all times. Three comments on the negative side the shower was a bit small no fridge and the breakfast was a bit limited for choose. If asked I would stay there again.
