Fantastic location and excellent managerPosted Oct 3, 2013
Pros: The manager and the location are both superb!
Cons: The general room facilities could've been slightly better (towels are an example).
Location: Boat trips to Capri, local trips to Pompeii, Positano, Amalfi all on your doorstop
While our room was a little basic (the rooms with sea views are a little fancier), it had everything we needed and the location was fantastic. The terrace itself is the only place in the centre of Sorrento that juts out of the cliff, so it has the best views! Andrea the manager, was a fantastic host and really looked after us. His boat trips are a must!

Stunning location and view.Posted Jul 30, 2012 on Hotels.com
The hotel and service exceeded expectations and had a family feel and vibe which I believe is an advantage compared to other commercial chains. The hotel offered discounted boat tours to the Isle of Capre which is much cheaper than its competitors. The proprieter went above and beyond to make the stay a pleasent one. Central location in Sorrento and can't wait to go back.

Year Round DestinationPosted Dec 20, 2010
I visited Sorrento in July and couldn't wait to come back again. I was able to put together a 4 week long trip to Italy for the month of November and it was mandatory that I include Sorrento. With most hotels closed for the winter months this location really stood out along with the price that was being offered for this time of year. I booked a room for 9 nights that included a kitchenette and washer/dryer in the bathroom. It was perfection. After 2 weeks eating restaurant food, it was nice to be able to prepare my own meals for awhile. The weather was also outstanding. It did rain for about 3 days towards the end of my stay, but I also had temperatures that ranged in the 60s to 70 degrees with clear skies. Not too bad. This is a cliff side property that has a breathtaking view of Mt. Vesuvius and surreal mountain landscapes to your left and right. One could easily pass the hours just taking in the scenery. The location is also just above the marina where you can find transportation to Naples or neighboring islands. It's also about a 20 minute walk to the train. The property manager, Andrea, was also very friendly and informative regarding the various sightseeing options available in the area. If I have an opportunity to come back, I couldn't imagine staying anywhere else.
