Soufriere, St. Lucia hotels
A sleepy fishing village with an emerging tourist industry on the island’s southwest coast, Soufriere boasts several attractions. Among them include Sulphur Springs, a “drive-in” volcano, the Diamond Botanical Gardens with waterfall (featured in “Superman II”), historic mineral baths, and nearby black sandy beaches. South of town are the Pitons, two volcanic mountains and a World Heritage site.
