Being renovated and dirty

Posted Aug 1, 2015
Pros: The staff were nice.
Cons: Cleanliness
The hotel is being renovated, but areas that are not being renovated were dirty too.

Stay elsewhere

Posted Jul 31, 2015
Pros: Close to I-80/I-90.
Cons: Too much to list, but let's start with having a toilet that you don't have to worry about tipping over.
Location: n/a
Room musty; bathroom door would not close all the way; toilet was not bolted to the floor so it wobbled each time it was used; the sheer curtains literally had tears in them; the pool left a lot to be desired -- wouldn't let my family swim in it. Thank God we only needed the room for one night as we were traveling home. Would not have stayed any longer.

Decent hotel

Decent hotel in the middle of renovation. Pool is small. No elevator.

Disappointed

Posted Jul 25, 2015
Pros: The staff was very efficient with all their difficulties.
Cons: Even though there was remodeling going on in the hotel, they should have known about the roof leak.
Location: M/A
Experian forgot to fax over my reservation, then when I got to the king suite on the top floor in a thunderstorm, the ceiling had a leak over the bed. I got another room the next night for a reduced rate. I think I should have gotten a reduced rate for the first night, since I slept on the couch. I don't use pullout beds.

Lots of shopping nearby

Posted Jul 11, 2015
Pros: Super quick check-in
Location: Lots of shopping - Target, Best Buy, etc. And it's close to Notre Dame.
We stayed overnight on our way to a wedding close to Wisconsin, so we didn't do any exploring of the area or spend much time in the hotel. The most important thing I can say is this is a two-story hotel and there is no elevator, so if you have trouble navigating stairs, make sure you request a room on the first floor. Also, I don't know if they were renovating or painting, but one of the railings on the stairs was laying on the stairs instead of connected to the wall. On our way out of town, we did notice a lot of shopping opportunities.

Clean but outdated

Posted Jun 15, 2015
Everything was clean, and comfortable which was the main thing. But compared to the neighboring hotels, this was clearly one of the older ones. The side door entrance was broke, the room curtains and colors were stufffy and old. Not fancy or current. But everything was clean. And we enjoyed the jacuzzi spa tub in our room.
