“will definately go back”

The hotel was awesome and price for the room was even better, the only thing that bothered me was that the vent came on in the bathroom every time you turn the light on which was very annoying but it won't stop me from staying there again or recommending it to someone else.

Area recommendations

The area was perfect because it was close to everything (shopping, dining and entertainment), try to avoid going there when there a Notre Dame home game because you won't be able to get around the area.

Every store that you could want is close in proximity, Walmart, Meijer, Kohls, and the mall is down the strret with many more top stores

“good for the money”

We were in town for a college visit and needed a place to stay and it was also a weekend of a Notre Dame home football game so prices had skyrocketed for the weekend! We were able to book at this hotel for a fair price at the last minute and was still close enough to the college we were visiting that it wasn't an inconvienence. The hote staff the very courteous, and the room was clean. The bed was a bit uncomfortable but otherwise we were satisfied with this hotel.

“Never staying there again.”

I'd like to preface this review by saying we've stayed at this hotel multiple times, and every time it has been similar to this. We will not be staying at this hotel again. The hotel is located close to the University of Notre Dame, and the nightly rate was quite competitive compared to other hotels further away. Because of this, we have stayed at this hotel a few times. Unfortunately, the benefits no longer outweigh the glaring problems this hotel has. The employees working behind the desk were rude and seemed tired whenever we saw them, however there was a very nice seasonal employee who went out of her way to help us. The entire third floor reeked of cigarette smoke for most of the time we were there. The condition of the rest of the hotel was dirty, everything from the elevator to the side entrances felt dilapidated. There was trash on the floor in the hallway while we left the room one day, and two hotel staff passed over and ignored it. Inside the room, the beds were rather bare (missing bed skirts) and the mattress was stained red from who knows what. The sheets and pillows were lacking any kind of comfort; we woke up multiple times a night from pain. The toilet was dirty, the floor in both the room and the hall was dirty and smelled. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel to others, and rank it a 1 star. It has a convenient location, but it needs to retrain some of it's employees and focus more on cleanliness and comfort.

“Great experience”

Our stay was overall wonderful, the staff was friendly and the hotel was clean and quiet. We will be staying again. The only downside is the bed could've been a little more comfy. :(

“not impressed”

unfriendly front staff. have to request a hair dryer. no cleaning service, have to bring your used towels to front desk to get clean ones. tiny TV.

“Terrible”

I couldnt wait to get out. got no help from management and they lied to Expedia about how long i was there.
