“Perfect overnight hotel”

We came in for a wedding..the hotel is clean, comfortable and fairly new looking. The pool looked clean, although we didn't have time to use it. And it was very reasonable priced. We would return!

“Great hotel.”

Everyone from housekeeping to front desk staff was so friendly. The room was very comfortable and clean. We will be staying there again. Didn't us the pool but it was a nice clean area and looked inviting. The breakfast variety was really nice.

“Good overnight stay in a modern place”

Hotel was in a nice part of town, near mall and upscale shopping, and right behind a Best Buy store. Not very crowded on a Sunday night in early January, so I was able to park 15 yards from the front door, and get a 1st floor room. The lobby was small, but the front desk staff lady was friendly and proficient. The 1st floor hallway smelled like a chlorine pool (indoor pool and hot tub available, behind glass windows in hallway), but not bad at all. The room was very clean and modern, no chlorine or smoking smell at all, and the heating already set for a comfortable temp. I was able to easily connect to the free WIFI to check email with my laptop, at a nice desk in the room. The king bed was very comfortable, with about 8 pillows and white linens on it. No heavy bedspread, which I liked, just a lighter cover. The heating unit mounted under the window cycled on and off periodically throughout the night, louder than I would have liked, but what can you do (I never did look at the controls - maybe there was a constant setting). I heard some footsteps and toilet flushing from other guests, but nothing very distracting. Shower water pressure and temp were great, with the curtain rod that arcs out to give more elbow room. Breakfast included too many food choices to list, only lacking some real orange juice. Free USA Today newspapers in lobby. Checkout was quick and easy. I would certainly stay here again.

“Close to Mall & Target!!!”

The hotel is very close to everything in Mishawaka and South Bend is right down the road - within 10 minutes. The only thing that I didn't like was the fact that Breakfast was only served until 9:0 I am use to hotels serving until 10. There is free internet access and the rooms were well kept, cleaning crew were very nice and actually talked to you to see how you were doing not just ignore you when you walk by or look like you need help. Friendly staff and at the door checkout - all I had to do was to give my keys to the front desk on my way out the door to leave. I would stay there again.

“extremely loud hotel”

I could hear people walking around in multiple rooms above me... Some people up before 6AM, some people went to sleep around 2AM.

“When in Mishawaka, IN - stay at Fairfield”

The staff was very friendly and helpful - especially when I came back to book a room at anohter Fairfield property. The room was great - comfortable and met all my needs. Because of my expereince here, I will continue to look for Fairfield properties in my travels.

“Clean and good value but quirky inconsistencies.”

This hotel is located within a mile of 40 restaurants so you don't have to go far for food. The breakfast area is well stocked and should have something for everyone. I only had two negative experiences during my 2 night stay. When I arrived my room was spotless except for the open half empty bottle of red wine on the desk. No glasses or cups (on the desk or in the trash) so I assume the cleaning staff just forgot to take the bottle. The bathroom appeared to be very clean too with all the soaps and shampoos serviced but there was a long hair (not mine) in the bathtub. If you're squeamish about these things then this could be a deal breaker for you. I'd probably stay here again because the staff are generally helpful and I think if I made a call these problems would have been quickly resolved. Pros: Helpful staff, free breakfast, 24 hour coffee, free newspaper and magazine, clean rooms. Cons: Cleaning quality is inconsistent.
