Not worth the money

Pros: Breakfast buffet was delicious. Room was clean and comfortable.
Cons: The buffet plates seemed to be only cleaned on the top, but not the bottom. So when plates were stacked the leftover food was on the clean portion.
Location: University of Notre Dame
The hotel facilities including room cleanliness and comfort were above average. However, our main complaint was the hotel staff. Customer service was well below average bordering between terrible to disappointing. For the price we paid, we expected better service. For example, the staff gave us the wrong room. Our room was located near the conference room. When we asked the staff if there was any meeting / party scheduled in that conference room, the response was "I don't know." The staff did not even attempt to check to see.

South bend/Notre Dame

Very comfortable, well kept and well staffed hotel. Rooms are spacious and well appointed. The staff could not have been more pleasant. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Convenient to the University of Notre Dame and there is a shuttle bus on weekends. Several shpooing malls and chain restaurants nearby. Recommended.

Just Average...

Pros: Nice location... and there was great signage, otherwise we might not have found the hotel. Restaurants and shopping were within walking distance.
Cons: The sofa in the room was extremely hard and the bathroom was a little cramped.
Location: Mall, several mainstream shops, banks, skating rink, bowling alley, restaurants, Notre Dame close by.
The hotel and staff were just average... I would stay here again if I needed to, however this was not my first option.

Excellent hotel for a night in South Bend!

Pros: Room size! Breakfast was decent!
Cons: Staff and coffee during the morning. Coffee is taken away at same time as breakfast. Would be nice to have it there until noon at least.
Great hotel for the value obtained from Expedia. Felt the staff were a little standard; were not really attentive. Everything else was above average and room was great size and comfortable.

Wonderful amenities and awesome breakfast!! I wish would could have stayed longer. If we could have a heated pool it would have been better!! But overall it was awesome! I loved the shopping and restaurant options in such close proximity of this hotel.

Great price. Very clean. Free breakfast was good better than your average hotel free breakfast. Location was very convenient.

Everything was great but the pool maintenance while we were there!!! would be perfect if they could have a hot tub but other than that I leave hoping coming back soon !!!!

Disappointed

The hotel staff was not very friendly and I had to wait a half hour just to get a question answered. I did not like the set up with the bathroom area with the sink arrangement. The breakfast was very disorganized with very limited foods available.
